Small, but works brilliant!!!
This little retriever was able to fish a loose piece of metal out of an engine via the oil fill gap!! Together with my diagnostic camera, these two tools saved me a lot of time, without the need to taking the engine apart, I was able to retrieve the loose metal!!! It looks small and weak, but the magnet is pretty strong and even hitting metal whilst pulling the loose piece out, it didn't fall off!!!!!

Amazing tool.
It's only with gods help on my side and this amazing tool the I was able to remove a piece of metal from an engine cylinder. I was trying to clean out an injector hole with another tool bought via Amazon which included some sort of metal butt plug which is supposed to stop crap falling down the nozzle hole, well after sitting the plug In place I used the brush attached to a drill when I realised it seemed to travel further than expected I removed the tool only to discover the plug is missing, oh shizzle I thought this is not good. Trying to get a pice of metal about 6mm wide out of a hole about the same width, I'm fudged. I tried everything I had in my current arsenal of tools to no avail. I thought it's a head off job with a minimum cost of £180 head gasket and bolts. I saw this tool as a last resort. It came I tried it and no lie but in my second dip it actually came out, I was genuinely and utterly amazed it came out. All I can say is god had answered my prays.

Very weak magnet, I doubt it would pick up even a pin.

Well this worked for me pretty well, I broke a key in a mortise lock and couldn’t get it as it fell flat and side ways so this helped get it out the lock.

Do not buy, I bought this to pick up a bolt out of an engine but the magnet has fallen off and is now stuck inside as well ! Waste of money

Works fine ,gets into places you can’t with bigger magnets ,magnet quite strong ,can lift medium size spanner.

Very weak magnet. Neck made out of simple wire, not very good at straightening back. Useful, but 3 stars.
