Get all your B vitamins with this nutritional yeast
I recently tried the LOOV Organic Nutritional Yeast Flakes and I must say, I am impressed! As a vegan, I am always on the lookout for nutrient-dense and natural sources of protein and B-vitamins, and this product definitely checks all the boxes.First and foremost, I love that these yeast flakes are certified organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free. It's reassuring to know that the product I am consuming is free from any harmful chemicals or additives. Additionally, the fact that it is non-fortified and has no added vitamins is a huge plus for me. It's always better to get essential vitamins and minerals from natural sources rather than artificially added ones. The taste of these flakes is slightly cheesy, making it a great substitute for parmesan or any other cheese in vegan recipes. I've used it as a topping on pasta dishes, salads, and even popcorn, and it adds a delicious umami flavor to any dish. I also appreciate that it has no added sugar, making it a healthier alternative to other brands. The resealable bag is a convenient and practical packaging option. It's easy to store and keeps the flakes fresh for a long time. The 8-ounce bag is also a generous amount and will last me a while.Apart from the taste, what makes these yeast flakes stand out for me is their nutritional value. They are a good source of B-vitamins, which are essential for energy production and many other bodily functions. This is especially important for vegans, as these flakes can help fill in any nutritional gaps in our diets.Overall, I highly recommend the LOOV Organic Nutritional Yeast Flakes to anyone looking for a healthy and delicious addition to their meals. Whether you're a vegan or not, these flakes are a great way to boost your daily nutrient intake. I will definitely be repurchasing this product and trying out more from the LOOV brand.

Great non-dairy cheese flavor alternative
We love this nutritional yeast to add nutrition AND a Parmesan-like flavor. With a dairy allergy in our house, we need alternatives, and this is one even our kids like!

The ONLY brand of Nutrition Yeast I like
This product is the only brand of Nutritional Yeast I like the taste of. It's also not fortified, which is wonderful because people always try to overdose people on B12 with their nutritional yeast pruducts. Also, I buy this product because as a 53 year old post menopausal woman, it's important to watch my fats and cholestrerol and I try not to have cheese more than once a day, so I supplement with nutritional yeast. My favorite way to eat this is to coat my vegetables (especially asparagus) with olive oil and then sprinkle them with this and bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes. Sometimes I also add a litle gluten free flour. The results is a tender, cheesey (like parm style flavor) veggie dish. Please please don't ever stop making this.

Non-fortified
I like the fact that this product is organic, non-fortified, and it tastes great. I had been buying another nutritional yeast that I really liked, but the ordering process was so difficult that it made it impossible for me to continue with that company. The ordering was easy here.

Excellent Quality But Pricey
I've bought this one time and liked it. It has a nice cheesy flavor. It is unfortified so doesn't contain artificial folic acid that is found in so many of the fortified yeasts. It naturally contains high levels (258 mcg./70% DV) of natural folate. There is no added B12 so this yeast is not a good food source of this critical vitamin. I prefer to get my B12 from a reliable sublingual vegan supplement to ensure I get the daily amount required. It's one of the few organic nutritional yeasts I've found. The only con is the price. It's expensive.

FINALLY!!! After trying a dozen or more yeast flakes over the years I have found my FAVORITE!
I have been trying to eat and enjoy nutritional yeast for at least 12 years now. Each time I buy the yeast I try it and it’s biter as all hell and ruins whatever I put it on. The. The package sits in my pantry until it gets old and I throw it out. Can’t tell you how many I’ve tried. Well not anymore. This is the only one I will buy from now on! It’s a mild taste and I don’t want to throw you off by saying it has a Smokey cheesy taste. But it’s so light and subtle and just lovely. As an example I cube up some firm tofu right out of the fridge. I don’t even bother cooking it. I toss it in some of these yeast flakes and add it to my salad. It’s almost like I’ve added some cheese to my salad. Love this stuff!! I also see this company Carrie’s more products. I need to try those as well!

Love the No Added Vitamins
I am thankful for the option to buy a nutritional yeast without added vitamins since I am allergic to some of them. I have been pleased with it, and use it in vegan cheeses and things. The price is a little high, but you get what you pay for and it always has come in very good condition. If you buy this product, be advised that is not as bright yellow as the one with added man-made vitamins. This is because that color actually comes from one of the added B vitamins. Nonetheless, we like it well enough that my family and I have bought it repeatedly for a couple of years now.

Tasty and doesn't have synthetic vitamins added
I've been buying this product because 80% of the time I eat a whole foods plant based diet, supplemented occasionally with sardines, salmon, and seafood for Omegas 3's. It contains natural B vitamins (no synthethic vitamins are added), but not B12, so I take a supplement for that. I use this in soups, salads, as a topper on popcorn, etc. It's tasty and a good source of B vitamins. The only thing that would make it better is if the cost were a little lower, especially since it's not a 30 day supply.
