DO NOT under any circumstance buy this if you want to keep your pet. Used this for the first time today for 5 minutes and it broke. The leash hook is only glued onto the vest and is not secure at all. The hook popped right off and my dog is now missing. Terrible product.

This is VERY cute for my little Teacup Yorkie.Used it so I could take him paddle boarding. He fell into the water and as I went to grab his vest to bring him back up, he completely slipped out of it. I almost lost my dog to the water. I bought the correct size and had him strapped in correctly. I returned this product and won’t buy another.

What a find this was! I was looking for a shark PFD for my 16 week old big breed puppy.I wanted something that would fit her now but that could be adjusted to bigger sizes as she grows. She will be 50-60 pounds full grown.This was the perfect PFD. I got a size medium. It’s on the smallest possible size now & fits her SUPer. And going off the size guide, I believe it will still fit her when she is full grown.It’s great quality. The dorsal fin stands straight up all the time. Other shark PFD’s have fins that only stand up while the dog is in the water. Right now, the bay is too cold for Piper to swim but we are stand up paddling 3-4 times a week. She slipped off my board several times her first SUP outing and the PFD held her on the surface of the water.It’s also inexpensive which is just an added bonus to this outstanding doggie PFD!

We live on a lake and Molly, my Brittany Spaniel, loves to swim. I aways wondered how I could put a flag on her so boats could see her. My neighbor suggested a swimming vest for dogs. I finally bought one and the orange color and orange fin make her very visible. One thing that kept me from the highest rating is that the neck is too large for her and hangs. She weighs 42 pounds. The Velcro wrap around part of the large size fits fine, but another reason I did not rate it the highest is that the buckles around her belly will not stay put when tightened and loosen. The Velcro holds fine, and the buckles are a backup. Molly also never had a problem wearing it.
