This is perfect for removing restrictions
Many propane fittings have restrictions set but I have found these fittings fail at some point. I have a Red Dragon Torch for weeding and this guy should hit over 500k BTUs but after a few years the fitting (P-3200W) that comes with it failed. I received this Marshall Excelsior ME318P Hard Nose POL Fitting and put it on right away. I applied the provided thread tape in a clockwise direction and used two wrenches to tighten it down until it was fully seated in the threads.With no restrictions this torch puts out some HEAT and i can now kill off any weeds once again.

2pc fitting & yellow teflon tape
As other review mentioned, the authenticity of the item being from Marshall Excelsior is questionable as it came in clear plastic bag and no part number engraved on the item as seen in the photo.This fitting consists of 2 pieces. The reverse threaded nut and the inner section that makes the leak proof connection to the tank with the 1/4" npt on the other end to connect to a regulator.Fitting doesnt leak and came with a roll of yellow telfon tape. What more do you want for a fitting priced under $11
