Minky Smartfit Reversible Ironing Board Cover, Yellow/Grey, 125 x 45 cm

I bought this Minky Smart Reflector Cover  Minky Smart Fit Reflector Ironing Board Cover - One Size Fits All  together with the Minky Felt underpad  Minky Deluxe Ironing Felt Pad Cover 125cm x 45cm  as the ironing board surface was due a much-needed overhaul due to natural wear and tear. The underfelt was very easy to fit as was the reflector ironing board cover (tight fit as one might expect). Together they provide a firm but soft surface that has made ironing semi-pleasurable once again, if that's possible lol. Cannot fault either product as they work perfectly with my ironing board and look good (see pics). On that basis I am happy to recommend this Minky cover to others (I would also encourage you to get the felt as it makes a huge difference). I purchased the Minky Smartfit Ironing Board Cover and Felt Pad to replace an old Minky cover that was starting to wear thin and rip after 14-months use.The new cover is roughly the same as the old one, but a much better design. The previous item has a thin bit of string you tension yourself, where the new one has pre-tensioned elastic. This works much better, it’s still a tight fit and doesn’t move around even with the felt pad underneath, but now you just pop it straight over the top.I think one of the main reasons for the demise of the previous item was the lack of the felt pad underneath the cover as it was a bit thin to go straight on top of the board. The felt pad is a good addition, you just cut it to size and place it underneath and it really thickens the surface up. This has also eliminated imprint that was coming through from the board without the felt pad.Good value for two quality branded items that are designed and manufactured in the UK, time will tell if they last but for now I would recommend to others.

One of my more mundane purchases, the last thing anyone wants to follow hot and steamy is chat about ironing equipment but here I go...This is a good quality cover with no major flaws. Overall a great purchase at this price point but a bit of extra padding would be useful.Used this regularly for over six months with no obvious wear or slackening of the elastic. The cover is elasticated and was very easy to fit to my (standard sized) ironing board. Once fitted it seemed very secure with a tight fit and did not move whilst ironing. I kept The foam lining from my previous cover underneath and I would recommend this If you like a bit of extra padding.Pros:- Good quality in price range- Secure and tight fit- No movement while ironing- Durable (so far)Cons:- A bit thin on padding- I still end up doing all my girlfriend ironing

Oh wow .. I didn't realise how tired my old cover had become - this minky smart fit cover is heavenly .. feels much more expensive than it was.The only grumble I have is the "minky design collection" printed all over it - I dislike involuntary advertising in my home!I'm still happy to recommend a full 5 stars because it is such good value and the advertising design grumble won't affect its use or irk everyone else.* Edited to add - I have an old 'Beldray' ironing board and was able to remove the ironing plate and place it on top of the cover.I had to make a few little holes for the fixings using a small sharp knife while the cover was on the board. I could feel where I needed to make the tiny cuts.

Bought this to replace my existing awful ironing board cover - turns out I misread the listing, thinking this came with the foam pad. When it arrived it turned out to be the SAME AS THE ONE I ALREADY OWN! It uses the word "luxurious" to describe the feel of it but it is so thin that when you iron you can see the metal pattern of the ironing board structure on your clothes. They arranged the return no problem and it's so rubbish they didn't even want it back
