Die cast metal, and a drops hip with a tank made to scale that fits inside the drop ship. The closest I ever found to this was 20 years ago and a Japanese import that 2 see separate toys that happened to work together that came out at different times.

Arrived sooner than expected. Only thing I would change is I wish the turret on the APC could be raised.

After having read other reviews of this product, I was expecting this product to be of poor quality. However, I was greatly surprised. This is a good reproduction of the drop ship from "Aliens". The die cast parts are not greatly detailed, but the lines are clean. The ramp release button hidden in the head-lamp assembly is nicely done. The weathering on the model is not great, but they didn't overdo it. Overall a relatively good first-effort. Two things I would like to see fixed/re-designed: Make the landing gear retractable, Make the cannon on the mini APC movable, they just glue it to the back, in the transport position.

Decent being it's my first dropship. Being obsessed with the alien franchise this is awesome. Only gripe was the upper rear stabilizers were bent I used boiling water and dipped the tail end in for a couple minutes to make the plastic more malleable. After that it was decent. The starboard headlight is a button to release the m577 APC works well. The APC is ok rear 20mW phased plasma cannons do not rotate or slide. The front passenger side 2x Republic Electric RE700 20mm gatling cannons do not rotate. Still a cool set. I will buy a second dropship for the heck of it. Why not

Yeah it was cool. Buy one and enjoy it , I have mine on display with my ALIENS DVD.

Low quality for what I was expecting. A lot of plastic parts. I wished the feet retracted.

Modellino della collezione ALIEN CINEMACHINES. Nonostante sia grande come il palmo di una mano, il dettaglio è molto buono. Soddisfatto anche della qualità dei materiali, seppur in plastica. Come nel film Aliens, le ali cariche di missili si estendono e nella pancia del veicolo è parcheggiato la versione miniaturizzata del carro armato, facilmente liberabile attraverso una piccola apertura posta sempre sotto la pancia del Dropship. Considerato il prezzo, non mi aspettavo di più sinceramente. Possiedo tutta la collezione Cinemachines ed esposti tutti insieme, strizzano l’occhio a chiunque si fermi a guardarli.

its lighter then expected I would say about 60% of it is die-cast metal with the rest being plastic. My one had very obvious glue where the plastic tail fins were attached to the metal body and the white missiles in the pods were painted too thickly so they looked like 1 big white block, had to scrape some paint off to give the missiles their definition back.
