Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! Dorman WTF
You cannot reasonably install this without removing the entire cab. Yes, I mean that the entire cab!GM installs these fuel lines at the top of the transmission. This kit is just a copy with some joints to make the fuel lines in sections. Like me you are probably thinking great I can just slip it in tighten the fittings. No sir!You will have to remove the front driveshaft. Somehow you need to get a hidden nut off of the top of the transmission. I managed to do this with a very long extension. This took forever! Now I cannot get the nut back on the bolt.Shame on GM for the design. Shame on Dorman for just copying a terrible design.I have the flexible hoses tightened down but the vapor line is too long and it kinked. The couplings near the filter are so close together you cannot tighten the fittings. I am not sure how to even get them tight right now without removing some of the lines.Get one of the vinyl line kits on Amazon. Trust me you will be way better off. Run it along the frame down to the filter use zip ties. I am really considering doing this my self using this kit only to support the lines. 250 bucks burned and lots of pain to boot. What is a man to do the truck needs gas to move and this kit will not get the job done?Only cut out the old line as much as you need to. Use the old line as support to zip tie the vinyl line to. Definitely leave the line that runs over the transmission so you can zip tie the vinyl line to it.You still might be thinking of buying this kit. Do not. You will thank me later.

The product might be good, but the installtion is a nightmare!!
This would be a nice product if you could actually install it. While the sectional aspect of the product does help with installation, there is absolutely no way, NO WAY, that the front section can be maneuvered into place. So unless you are planning on either pulling the engine out or the cab off of the truck it is a worthless product. The two-minute instructional video on YouTube is pretty well worthless too. The video indicates a one or two-hour installation time; not even close! There is a mounting bolt apparently on the transmission that must be removed to get the old lines out and subsequently install the new ones. While the video mentions this, it does even show you where it is or how to get it; they conveniently show the removal of a frame screw which even my six year was able to remove. The video was obviously done a relatively new truck because there is no rust and the quick connect clips just come right apart. In reality, I had to purchase both 3/8" and 5/16" couplings, fuel line quick connects, and a section of fuel line to even think about getting this installed completed. Probably a good product but the installation is a NIGHTMARE!!Unless you are doing a restoration, this is not a product for general repair.

Be prepared to spend some time on this
The sections along the frame rails were a piece of cake to install. The section going up to the engine was a bit of a pain. A tip for anyone who is doing this is to drop the rear of the tranny. It makes it a lot easier to get the old lines out and the new ones in. Also the nut that hold the bracket is 13mm. Be prepared not spend some time on this. It was not the 1-2 hours Dorman says it takes. I also had to shorten the vapor line so the braided hose did not kink. On the flip side it's much easier than the factory lines which are all one piece.

What a mess.
Where do I begin? First the instructions are non existent. Then they didn't explain that you need to save most of the hardware from the old lines to install with their lines. So all the line bracket bolts and the upper fuel rail line clips need to be reused. The problem is that the OEM clips will not work with their line. I called and my only option was to buy another complete set of lines because the clips are not sold individually. And the line set is $255. I am missing an O-ring the goes on the 3/8 line going into the fuel filter also. Finally they refer you to an online install video that shows NONE of the difficulties that a person will run into. And I want to mention that what they call instructions, show the center line set inverted so I'm not sure they know how to install their own lines. I have been through school to be a mechanic and this was quite the challenge but only because of lack of competent support and actual instructions.
