I'll get my dislikes out of the way first: there is no way to attach any kind of carry strap which makes it really awkward to grapple with sometimes due to its size (it's BIG); and to switch the torch off requires pressing the button multiple times to cycle through the light modes until it switches off (really annoying when you have to go through the strobe function first).Other than those niggles, this torch is brilliant. Even on low power mode the light is plenty bright and the beam distance way more than adequate for lighting the road ahead during night time dog walking. A long press in both high and low power modes switches slowly to flood light with a brief flicker to confirm it has reached maximum flood, but you can stop it at any point in between by lifting your finger off the button. The initial charge time was roughly four hours, and it has so far seen me through five night time dog walks of roughly an hour each time with the torch on low power mode constantly, and the battery shows no sign of needing another charge yet. Despite its size it is relatively lightweight, and the on switch button big and easy to find through touch. Though i've not used it yet, the ability to charge another device from the torch battery is a neat function. Finally, the colour of the light to my untrained eye is pure white, no headache inducing blue hue like some cheap led torches have, and no sickly yellow "natural" white either - it's just right.

Bought this to walk the dog in the dark. Very bright and useful but the beam isn't that impressive.Update: I have now returned this item. It stopped holding charge after about 4 days and it would run out of juice after about 30 minutes of use. Maybe I had a bad one but I need a torch I can safely walk the dog with. Disappointing

The torch is general is good. Light is bright and provides a good feel in your hand when outside. This light does come with some flaws however. I use the torch mainly on high power so the battery life does not last very long. There is no way of knowing the battery is low. So you could be out in the dark & it’ll die (hasn’t happened to me yet). The torch upon charging does not have a light to show it’s fully charged which easily could have been added. There is a red light when it charges. But I have had it on charge for 6 hours it remains red. It’s a shame that for the price you’d expect a complete torch which I’ve not yet seem to find.

I wanted a torch to keep in the car. This one doesn't take up much space, it's bright - to a fault - and easy to handle. It appears well made. The only criticism I have is that one has to click through for each of the three types of illumination. For the price, it is fine. Recommended.

Some of you may understand this 🤔 the only thing missing is a wrist strap, but then again I never use one, good touch, would recommend 5⭐
