The bags are a good size for bank notes if you’re fortunate enough to have a surplus of them to need to store them, you could get a tidy sum on there, I’ve got a massive £5 emergency fund in there. I bought them for paperwork, birth certificate, important insurance documents, other important paperwork. The envelopes will take several sheets of folded paper with ease. The Velcro is very effective, very strong grip. The zip is sturdy. The silver bag is fine, but the black bag has a weird icky and sticky feel to it, there is no residue that comes off, but it feels really unpleasant to the touch. Thankfully there is no odour associated with the weird feel to the coating, but you find yourself washing your hands after touching the bag. I’m tempted to put some blank sheets of paper in one of them, toss it on a bonfire, wait ten minutes, then pull it out with a stick, drop it in a bucket of water to cool it off, and see what comes out…only tempted though.
