Some years ago, Nioxin helped me through a bout of chemo. Along with using a cold cap, I emerged after 6 months worth of treatment with two thirds of my hair still intact - and it also helped my re-growth afterwards no end. Brilliant!Then I stopped using it.Now, 6 years on, I am taking medication that could potentially threaten my hair - so I decided to get myself a new set of Nioxin, and hopefully stave off any hair loss before it begins.Using it again has been like coming home. The fresh minty smell is so good, and that scalp tingle really wakes me up in the morning!But best of all is how this system makes my hair feel again! It's soft and shiny, right from the first use, and I love it!Haven't used the mousse yet, but I may try it at night having read the other reviews.If you are having any hair thinning/loss issues, I really do recommend giving Nioxin a try - it works for me! :-)

I got this recommended to me by my hair dresser, it's not cheap so I had a look and saw this for half the price. You wash your hair twice with the shampoo and then use the conditioner and I use the serum about 3 times a week it looks like styling mousse but that's the thing that gets your hair to thicken, if you dye your hair this one's for you as I do my own hair and I find it doesn't wash out your dye like other shampoo does so I don't have to dye my hair as often. I would recommend this product. It has a slight smell of tea tree but it leaves your hair so shiny so I love it.

I’ve always had fine, thin hair and with PCOS I tend to lose a lot of hair. Almost 3.5 months postpartum my hair started falling out. After 9 months of thick non-shedding hair it was pretty saddening to see it all go, and with my pcos I was afraid I would lose more hair than I had prior to being pregnant. This stuff makes my hair feel so nice and I’ve only used it for 3 weeks now, usually just once a week. My hair feels so thick after using the 3 products together, and I’ve noticed that my hair has become much softer and healthy looking as it was extremely dry before using this stuff. I also use a leave in conditioner by caviar, so I know that that helps as well. Anyway, as long as this product continues to make my hair feel this way I will continue to use it and investigate other products that they have. I will note that I have not noticed my hair not falling out any less or any hair growth, but like I’ve said I use it maybe once a week and I’ve only had the products for 3 weeks so far.

My wife says she likes the smell and it makes her hair feel nice but she just isn't convinced that it helps with thinning hair.I never thought her hair was thinning anyway but what do I know.

My hair was coming out in handfuls everytime I washed it, it was quite alarming. After only 2 uses of the Nioxin Shampoo and Conditioner the difference was amazing and very noticeable. Hardly any hair came out, only what I would consider to be a normal slight amount. It may be expensive but it`s been worth every penny. I`m so impressed. It was recommended to me by a friend who`d had cancer and her surgeon had recommended it to her so I felt that was a great recommendation to take notice of. With further use my hair is noticeably thicker and healthy looking and the peppermint smell is really nice too.
