Do not jump on it. Thin enough to get hurt but was still surprisingly comfortable.

It’s very nice to have it, simple and easy, very useful and comfortable as well. Also, I like it comes with the cover.

First, this is a beautifully designed Japanese Futon (Shikibuton). It's soft, comfortable, & well made with reversible sides, one soft, warm, fleece side for the winter & the other more of a dry & a bit rougher feeling (not in a bad way; ordinary) for the summer.I let the futon air out for a day and then I slept amazingly. I've had this futon for a week and a half now & the first couple nights was some of the best sleep I've ever had. Unfortunately, after those days (about a week), I felt like the futon was getting flat. I've rotated it & it's been 3 days & this end feels like it's getting flat too. I felt it from underneath the futon to where I'm sitting at and it feels like it's depth is ~0.5 inches - ~1 inch. Comparing this to the way the product is at 4 inches shows a major difference. It feels like it's flattened which makes it hard & uncomfortable to sit on.I also wished this Japanese Futon came with a set of instructions on how to care for it so that it remains comfortable & does not flatten.

I got this to go over the mattress on a new rollaway bed that I bought. Very comfortable and very happy with it.

Disliked the thickness. It was advertised as 10” thick. It is maybe 3” thick after sitting out for several days. Not comfortable at all. Dissatisfied with the product.

**update - they tried to bribe me with a $50 gift certificate to change this to a 5-star review. Then they said they would offer me a refund if I first changed this to a 5-star review. Considering the different excuses for the poor quality, and the attempt to gain my sympathy with their supposed bankruptcy, I did not believe they would refund anything. After many months, I maintain this is a a terrible product with false advertising*** ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is not a futon. It is more like a heavy comforter. We waited a week for the foam to fluff back up after being compressed in the packaging. It is still maybe 1” thick at the most. It does nothing to provide any kind of cushioning. It is no where near being 4” thick, and as soon as you put weight on it you might as well be sitting on a sheet on the floor.

I love it so much I got the queen size one so me my baby can lay on it or play on it 💖
