It's a nice journal, but the listing says that the paper is a high GSM and it is definitely not. It's very thin, almost semi transparent. This will not work as a sketchbook if you want to use markers and gel pens. I'm sad because I like the notebook but the paper just will not work for anything other then pencil or ball point pen.

I purchased this notebook for work and I love it! The color is exactly as pictured, it's well-made and the price is affordable. I would definitely recommend this notebook for school, work or even if you wanted to use it as a sketch book.

I was in the fence about this journal, but ended up loving the thin pages. This does open flat, and the paper is fine quality while being lightweight.

I recently purchased this notebook mainly to organize task lists and it's perfect. The oatmeal color is just as pictured. The ribbon bookmark is helpful as is the elastic band for closure. I am able to slide additional notes/papers under the elastic band throughout the work day. It's the perfect size to fit in my laptop bag. Definitely recommend for a cute, useful notebook.

No surprises, just a standard journal which is what I was looking for.
