can this fit into the holes on an inca rule?

I will say no way. I have an Incra rule and I need 0.5mm graphite to fit in the holes. My 7mm doesn't even fit and these are over 2mm.

Does this work on aluminum?

It marks the same as any lead pencil. You would have better luck getting the colored inserts/leads they will work better. Still not as good as a marker. Pica 4040 Dry Deep Hole Marker Set Water Jet Resistant, Refill Waterproof/Permanent/Blue/White/Green Good Luck!

Can you write on paper with them? Can a mark be erased with an eraser
