Gets It All Right
Purchased the 4 step ladder. Unquestionably worth the price. Ladder is solidly built, strong, sturdy, good tread depth and width, effective non-slip ridges on treads, grippy feet, extension handle is perfect for extra balance and safety and it operates smoothly and easily, lightweight, folds VERY flat, and easy to carry and store. While it's true that the quality and utility of a lot of products on Amazon are questionable at times, especially those from unfamiliar companies/manufacturers, I'm happy to report that this product from this company is very good quality and really does get it all right. Buy with confidence.

Sturdy and Storable
I don't review much but I bought the silver, 5 step unit a month ago. Affordably priced. Prompt delivery. My ex came over yesterday to, of all things, borrow my ladder. When she saw mine she didn't borrow, instead ordered one for her apartment last night. Will be there tomorrow.Completely sturdy considering light weight. Does not flex or wobble. Wide steps make it stable and safe to stand up on fourth rung. Not sure I want to try fifth, but doubtless if well braced it would do fine. Great for indoor or outdoor.Hinges are strong and not greasy. They do not bind at all. Quick and easy to open and collapse. Handily stores just about anyplace, in closet, under bed, hung on wall. Fits in trunk no problem.Three nice features are the collapsible handle, the removable tool tray, and the affixed velcro strap to bind it shut for storage.Every once in a while one company or another demonstrates it ge genuinely puts the consumer ahead its profit margin. Somebody did their homework designing this step ladder.Five stars+

Function & Form
Far exceeded my expectations. Easy to open & close, super stable, collapses virtually flat for storage, not too heavy to move around easily & it is even attractive. Never imagined writing a review for a ladder, but it deserves it!

Great ladder!
Lightweight. Easy to unfold. Love how it folds flat, easy and convenient to store. Takes up little space when folded. Seems sturdy to me I’m currently 210lbs

Watch out for the pinch point
I bought the bronze ladder because the price was lower than the silver one and the finish was shinny. The bronze does not have the accessory box on the top grab bar handle like the silver model. I figured this was the price differance. After using this product, I concluded that the accessory box would have been handy. I did not see where you could add this as an additional option. Also, I believe the silver model had a push button to lower the grab handle, the Bronze model does not. To lower the grab handle on the Bronze, you need to start the folding process to activate. My arm was supporting the ladder below the grab handle and once I had the steps folded, the grab handle lowered abruptly onto my inner forearm leaving a blood blister. I do like the sturdiness, appearance and weight of this ladder. I bought it to reach my solar panel on top of my truck cap while camping. It folds very well behind the back seats of a Toyota Tundra. Just be carefull when folding it back down.

I Love This 5-Step Ladder!
I already have a 3-step aluminum ladder that's great for use in the house. But often it's too short for things like changing bulbs in overhead lights, or hanging a flagpole off the house. I liked the description of this 5-step one, and the reviews were mostly favorable. The beta review checker gave the reviews an "A" for reliability. It is everything it's supposed to be, and more. I did not find any of the shortcomings some of the reviewers described--flimsy, wobbly, not fit for a senior. I am a senior, and I feel quite safe on it.The ladder is well constructed of mainly aluminum; it seems to have some other metal joints and plastic parts. The four feet on the ladder are shown as "rubber" in one of the photos in the listing, but are described as "PVC" in the description. They are plastic. The steps are wide and grooved, so they are quite safe. On a level surface (the cement landing at my front door) it is solid as a rock--not a millimeter of wobble with this 140 lb person on it. It does wobble on my brick walk, but that's because the bricks aren't level--no fault of the ladder. I love the retractable handle. It gives me something to hold an lean against when I am on one of the higher rungs. The handle locks into place. To slide it back down, you press two locking buttons, one on each side. Another nice feature is a strap with Velcro closure that goes around the handle and holds is in place, so it doesn't slide out during transport. There were less weighty ladders available (this one is 15 lbs), but I'm glad I opted for this one, because I really feel safe on it.There was just one small issue. When I unpacked it, I noticed a dent in the front of the lower step. It's not serious enough to warrant returning or exchanging the ladder. I phoned Amazon about it, and they gave me a generous partial refund.I am very happy, and look forward to many years of use. As soon as I finish this, I'm will use it to replace the batteries in one of my security cameras!

Recommended ladder
Great ladder, heavy duty not heavy to carry. Folds up in stores well and type places. It will hold a lot of weight and yet remains sturdy. I have no fears of this ladder tipping. I don’t recommend this, but I’ve even stood on the top step to do things I needed to get done.
