This little hub has become a must-have on my desk. It plugs into a USB-A port, and suddenly I’ve got slots for SD, micro-SD, and even extra USB ports—all simultaneously. Transferring files from my camera’s SD card is noticeably faster than my laptop’s built-in reader, and it doesn’t spike in temperature like some cheaper hubs. Everything just works when I plug it in: cards mount instantly, transfer speeds hold steady, and I’m back to sorting photos in a flash.That said, while USB 3.0 speed is respectable, it doesn’t turn your 200 MB/s SD card into a rocket ship—think more “decent commute” than “supersonic.” And even though it’s compact, it can add clutter if you’re juggling cables and dongles already. Still, this hub is dependable, well-built, and worth tossing in your bag if you regularly hop between devices. It’s one of those “just solves stuff” tools that you don’t realize you needed—until you do, and then you actually thank the USB gods.

I got this for transferring from an SD card. It seems very effective. Outside is plastic, but it seems durable enough. It cut my data transfer speed in half! Everytime I plug it in, though, I get a bunch of pop ups asking me to scan it. Not sure why iget more than one. I've scanned it, and it's fine. I just need to change some setting in my antivirus software to avoid this issue. Overall, I'm very pleased -- it seems like a very good value.

After a few years it stopped working... in the product defense I was using it as an extension of RAM on my PC and it was always on. Worked excellent until it died. I just wish it lasted longer.

EXCELLENT card reader. It works well with my mini PC, worked well with my old gaming PC too, it reads SD cards quickly, and it is versatile in how many types of cards it can read so easily. It's simple and easy to use as well, just plug and play. Recommended you use it with a 3.0 USB port, otherwise it feels a bit slow. Highly recommended!

A very well made product and works great with my computer and Digital Picture Frame.

I've used two of these and they both have always worked great for quickly downloading photos from my camera card to my PC. The first one was purchased many years ago and it is still working perfectly! I ordered a second one so I could keep a spare in my car to use with my camera and laptop while on the road.

What a wonderful item! I was able to plug it into my computer and transfer files from one SD card to another with ease.
