Pouchong Oolong Tea Taiwanese Fermented Loose Leaf - Floral Aroma

After doing some research I purchased this Pouchong Oolong for my mother, and fortunately it was very well received. Over the years my mother has unsuccessfully tried to find the Oolong variety from her childhood. She said this tasted just like what she remembered. It was easily steeped 3-4 times for some very nice, lightly colored, Oolong. Higher temperature water will result in a darker tea. We found no need for sugar or honey as it has a wonderfully sweet aroma, flavor, and mouth feel on its own. It's not quite a raw green tea nor is it a black tea. This one is a winner!

This is really good tea. Best way to drink is pour a little boiling water over the leaves and dump water almost immediately. This takes the wax off the leaves. Next, add cold water just to cover leaves then fill rest with boiling water and steep about 3 minutes and strain. This is the cold water method that protects leaves from getting burnt which causes excessive bitterness. Good for 3 solid steepings.

Bao Zhong has been my favorite non-puerh tea since I first tasted it about 30 years ago. This tea is so weak that it shouldn’t even be labeled as Bao Zhong!!! I have two very good ones that I purchased here on Amazon in the last few years and I’m looking to replace one that I ran out of. This one doesn’t do it! It’s so weak in Bao Zhong flavor that I couldn’t even tell that that’s what it was when I drank my 1st cup of it. It was only with the 2nd cup that I could taste a hint of Bao Zhong flavor, which is not worth the $8.51 / ounce that I paid for it! I am very disappointed in this tea! New edit: I am now making it twice as strong and can taste that it is actually Bao Zhong, though still very weak.

Extraordinary tea - beautiful aroma, sublime flavor that evolves in your mouth. Not cheap, but so worth it. If you like oolong tea, you must taste this.

Oolong is my favorite tea and this one is just about a perfect cup.

Ik vind het vieze thee en veel te duur voor wat je krijgt, ik heb wel eens lekkerdere oolong thee gehad en zal dit niet weer van deze leverancier bestellen.

Der Tee (Pouchong Oolong) ist genauso, wie ich ihn nach der Beschreibung erwartet habe. Gestern endlich zum ersten Mal probiert (ich muss in der richtigen Teestimmung sein), mehrere Aufgüsse gemacht und genossen. Gestern nur kurz 1 Minute ziehen lassen und dann auf Eiswürfel, sehr erfrischend. Und eine Glasflasche mit Teeblättern und Wasser über Nacht kaltgestellt; an dem labe ich mich gerade - 2/3 Tee, Rest Milch (Nein, keine Bubbles!). Ungesüßt schmackhaft, und ich konnte sogar hervorragend schlafen. Werde ich bestimmt wieder bestellen.
