VTech DS6511-4A 4-Handset DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Bluetooth Connect to Cell and Caller ID, Expandable up to 5 Handsets, Wall-Mountable, Black/Blue/Brown

I recently purchased this to replace an old set of VTech cordless phones, and I have to say that I couldn't be happier! The buttons and numbers are quite large, so they're all extremely easy to read. I absolutely LOVE the fact that both my husband and I can link our cell phones to these handsets. You can pair up to 2 cell phones with these handsets. I don't need anymore than that since it's just my husband and I, but for a household with more than 2 cell phones in use, that might be something to consider.While it may not be a huge deciding factor, I do like that the phones light up blue. For some reason, I find it's easier on my eyes. One more thing that I like is that only two of the handsets are black in color. The other two are this beautiful dark red/brown color, and a steel blue color. I can put the two black phones in the main areas of my home, and the other two that are different colors can go in bedrooms. Because they're color coded, no more losing phones and trying to figure out what charger they belong to. Despite the fact that they are different colors, the faces of all the handsets look identical. The color is the only distinguishing factor.While going through all the settings, I toyed with the ringtone and the volume settings, and this phone seems to have the perfect ring volume. It's not too loud, and it's not too quiet. I always hated my old phones because their ring volume, even when turned down quite a bit, would always be really loud. The call clarity is fantastic, as well as the clarity when using the bluetooth mode for your cell phones. I highly recommend this set for anyone who wants something that's really easy to use. It doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, but it looks and functions fantastically!

Call clarity on these seem good. We use these to connect to 2 separate cell phones. The only cons are that the phones must be close by the main unit, and it is sometimes difficult from the screen to understand which phone is ringing or call from a specific cell phone.

Bought this to replace an identical system I bought a few years ago. The digital read-out on my phones deteriorated over time and I needed to replace the handsets so I could tell who was calling. Other than that, these were great, and I expect the new ones to be even better.

I was very disappointed with these phones. I had read that the reception was crystal clear. NOT! The ear piece volume was very poor. Even after increasing volume, I could barely hear the caller. Callers found it difficult to hear me too. Screen was also hard to read. Black print on blue background was difficult to read. Too bad, because the idea of linking to my cell phone and then having these phones around the house was fabulous. Too bad this set didn't deliver. Sent them back and will continue carrying my cell around the house with me.

The phones work well, love that you only need one main station and the other handsets are just plugged into an outlet. Easy to read features. Bluetooth pairing with cell phone works great and even downloaded my contacts onto the phone. I wear hearing aids and I have no problems hearing with them in.

Call quality is well below the phones this replaced which were Vtech as well. Reception is tinny and cheap sounds. Callers hear me as robotic voice. Not pleased with this purchase.

Not so pleased with this system. I don't see the advantage of buying this.It only connects to one cell. What's with that?
