Build a Viking Tool Chest

This video is poor - at the level it would get laughed out of an SCA beginner's A&S competition. There are so many short cuts taken in the construction as well as poor or contrary advice - the most obvious one is to just cut the mortices that support the floor board straight through without taking the slope of the end boards into account - this will almost certainly result in breaking out the mortices in the end boards unless you are extremely sloppy in your morticing.You are just so much better off buying the 'Mastermyr Chest' compilation of papers that is also offered by Amazon and watching a few relevant free episodes of the PBS 'Woodwright's Shop' - at least you will have a good chance of making something worthwhile rather than having lots of frustration & a pile of broken bits of expensive firewood.
