I planned to use my 32” diameter soft box on this stand, unfortunately it’s not quite sturdy enough (especially at full extension, 7ft). This stand would be adequate to hold a single speedlite. Made with thin metal and cheap plastic.

Just the quick factsIt's metal but it feels very cheap, like they was trying to reduce the amount of metal needed to build it.The knobs don't feel like they tighten well.I would say this isn't high end stuff nor is it full blown garbage. It's some where in them middle.I bought 6 of them, they do the job but idk maybe think twice or idk buy it... again middle grade product.

Im very happy with this purchase! For 16.99, i am not complaining. I needed this for my small 8" ring light and i didnt want anything too flimsy or too heavy since its a small light anyways. I jist wanted something sturdy enough and that doesnt take up room. Im not sure if it can hold a bigger ring light than my 8" light.

This “7 ft stand” is only 6ft tall when set properly. It may be extendable to 7” but if so then it won’t “stand” even by itself with nothing mounted.Returning ... I use a real measuring stick not a magic one... see picture.
