Durable and definitely heat resistant. Trash laces.
Love these boots! They have a good amount of room for wider footed individuals and are sturdy enough to hold up through a year+ of 60 hr weeks! The laces… not so much. Those things fell apart within a month. The sole definitely holds up to the heat like they say it will. I work around steam a lot and have never left a bookmark stuck to the equipment since the switch. Had a pair of other boots melt to the grate I was standing on after venting steam, with these guys I can even stand on a steam drum without them melting! Though, as you might expect, your toes do still get a little toasty if you stand around too long on something hot.Waterproofing works great and is very reliable while still having some breathability! Can walk in as deep as 5” of water without worrying of them overtopping! They’re about as heavy as you’d expect from such a sturdy, pair of Electrically insulated boots. Well worth the investment just make sure you pick up a good set of laces to go with them!PS, this recommendation assumes you NEED boots this beefy for work. There are absolutely cheaper options that hold up just as well for most professions! Techs in O&NG and corrugated will love these though!

Best Ever
My husband has been wearing these boots for close to 7 years. Husband is in the industry with diesel, oil, and solvents. One thing we've noticed is other soles not lasting long. They would break down and just get eaten alive. Keen workbooks DO NOT BREAKDOWN!!! These hold up for about a year. So for 260 days that he wears them. In his business it's almost unheard of. He's tried many steel toe boots and haven't had any other hold up like these.

Would help if correct size was sent and product wasn't damaged in transit.
Have worn and loved Keen footwear work boots for the past 6 years. I have gone through 3 pairs of their Pittsburgh boots and for something I wear everyday for 12-14 hours they get a lot of use. Lately however finding boots from Keen of any make in my size has been next to impossible. So finding some on Amazon I was even ready to try a different style. Receiving a boot that is a full size bigger than ordered in an extra wide (EE) that wasn't ordered in a box where they had been damaged in transit. Made me thankful that Amazon has a good return policy.

Beware!!! Cheap Chinese Junk! DO NOT BUY!
I have been wearing Keen boots for the last five years and the warranty is outstanding. I had to weed out some of the lesser quality boots all covered under warranty and found that the all leather “Built in USA” products to be their products. I’ve been buying the “Dover 6” boot” exclusively for the last two years. I over looked that this time on these particular boots and upon trying them on noticed how stiff and uncomfortable they were right out of the box which is very unlike the Keen boots I’ve come to know and love. Upon closer inspection I noticed they were made in China and seemed rather cheaply made with low quality material. I also noticed stitching on the bottom of the sole near the toe. I’m not a scientist but logically that doesn’t seem like a great place for exposed stitching. Also notice the sole is “concaved” in that same area which I tried to capture in the video. KEEN makes a great product and their “built in USA” boots will last me a whole year. This product, however, is not one of them. I would not recommend these at all especially for $235.00 you can get a much better boot in that price range without a doubt.
