Good gear Get it!
What should you know? Simple this is a good piece of gear. Many years ago I started out with an M 16 A1 times have changed dramatically. My first real red dot was a Aimpoint. It never failed me when I was bouncing around on Amazon I came across the Romeo seven. Very similar to an aim point this one for the cost was certainly worth it. You don’t need toWhat did I like well, the simplicity of mounting it was easy. It came with scope caps with the kill flash for the front objective rugged as hell and it’s reasonably priced. If you want a red dot that is clean and uncluttered, this is the one for you? I’m very happy with my purchase and maybe buy a second one for another rifle.Pos: a one stop red dot scope for rifles. Appears to be very rugged, ease of installation on your rails and lastly, it’s not ridiculously over-the-top expensive!

Sig Romeo7
Can't post a pic of the optic on my receiver, however, QD lock up is very good, glass is good, dot is good but blooms on the last 2 high settings. Fit and finish are fantastic as expected from Sig. MOTAC is so fast you wonder if the red dot ever shuts off. I bought this for the robustness of the optic, knowing the glass isn't the best out there. This thing is a tank!

Quality as usual
I originally bought the 7s and was very pleased with the rugged build and the clarity of the glass and red dot. My only complaint is the lens caps seem a bit flimsy but still very functional. I decided to upgrade to the 7 because of the great reviews and I'm glad I did!! The 7 is very rugged, has some heft, incredibly clear glass and the red dot is very quick to pick up. Mounted it to a M&P 15 and took it to the range. Used a boresight to get on paper then had it zeroed in 3 rounds. Ran about 300 whitebox 55gr removed it, thanks to the included quick detach mount, put it back on and was still zeroed perfectly. Great sight for duty use or just your average shooter like me. Another awesome Sig Sauer product. Buy it!!

Excellent value
Love this red dot very accurate at short and medium distances. Typical red dot brightness features easy to operate. Holds zero. Yes it’s big but I didn’t have to pay AIMPOINT price and it completes the look I was going for. Yes I wanted an AP M4 but I don’t have nor can I justify paying 2-3 x the price for a simple red dot. Ah yes and the MOTAC feature best of all.Easy to mount and zero. Comes with 2 mounts QD installed by default, battery and honeycomb flash kill with flip covers. Overall excellent value for performance, accessories and especially for the price.Solid unit no doubts will last long hopefully internal electronics will hold up just as well.I highly recommend.

Excellent Full-Size Duty Rifle Red Dot -- Very Affordable Compared to Trijicon or Aimipoint
I've put this on 16" barrel 5.56x45mm NATO, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend AR-15s. The 30mm objective combined with unlimited eye relief is a welcome change admitting much more light and giving a wider view compared to sights with a 20-22mm objective such as the Romeo5 and Romeo7S. In spite of the battery compartment, it has very little clutter on the sides or top to obscure situational awareness view around it. The next closest in the 1X red dots I've used is the 25mm objective on a Primary Arms MD-25 ACSS. Its design is nearly a clone of the Aimpoint Comp M4. Housing is very durable and definitely not fragile.Red dot is crisp and its brightness adjustment range spans all the levels of lighting range I've encountered, indoors and out. Set to an appropriate level for the ambient lighting, I've never had to hunt for the dot. Parallax is nil. Dot stays on target. I don't have NODS, and cannot speak to its night vision settings. Automatically turns itself off if left idle for a couple minutes and comes back to life immediately when picked up, without any delay. Comes with honeycomb front filter to prevent objective reflection back toward target, and helps deal with glare from bright light sources in front of sight. Presence does not noticeably reduce light coming through. Quick release works well and is easily adjusted for proper tension. I've not lost zero when properly installing and reinstalling it in the same location on the rifle rail.Size and Rail Real Estate:This is a full-size sight, with the corresponding weight of one, especially with its battery and its beefy, very durable housing. Its length will consume a sizeable part of the upper receiver rail. If combined with a magnifier, depending on magnifier length, the magnifier may interfere with a BUIS, even if the Romeo7 is put as far forward on the receiver rail as possible (it should not extend out onto the barrel shroud rail, if there is one over the barrel). I've combined it with a full size Juliet 3 (not the Micro), and it fits, but the BUIS cannot be deployed unless the Juliet is flipped to the side out of the way. The rail will be crowded. Those for whom weight is the highest priority should look at smaller, more compact and micro optics. Its 30mm objective with its benefits and optical train are a tradeoff with size and weight (e.g. Romeo4 or Romeo5).

Good CCO
At first I was doing a light durability test, with my hands, and the red dot started to reflect inside the glass obscuring the dot. Made it almost useless, but annoying at the least. Kept hitting it with my hand and blurriness went away. A fall onto the ground may have the same effect I would think, so if the dot goes blurry again just hit around with your hand and it should go back to normal. It is a good scope for the money, holds a zero, holds up to minor abuse, which is absolutely at minimum what you need or don't bother getting a scope. All CCOs after a while need to re-zeroed after being banged around, just the way it is.

Clear peeping hole!
Sig makes this red dot sight with a clear glass and a clear MOA red dot to use. The dot is spot on, and the housing is very firm and durable. The quick release when adjust properly holds zero and stability. The dials are audible and easy to use. Battery consumption last a long while and the shake to wake like feature is very reliably when you need it during a firefight. Seller shipped fast and price well. no complaints in methods of packing and shipping. For the price its unique and well-constructed. For the seller to offer it for its purpose and prices is a rare opportunity.
