This box is a nice sturdy box. Material is hefty and the box feels strong. Drilling was easy even in the clear material which I tapped for #6 and #2 screws. The outer bosses for screws were easily tapped. The inside has many bosses for mounting plus two with brass inserts which the included screws fit. Latches are nice. It’s probably water tight but I did not test that aspect. Great box as I would expect from BUD. I would not hesitate to buy again.

Well built box for the money. Clear cover & two hasps. Some mounting threadserts on the inside. Pretty durable, I believe. I wish there were pre-formed holes for electrical bushings, but they probably would have been in the wrong place. I used a step-drill to install bushings and that was tricky. The plastic construction is so thick (well made) that a step-drill didn't work well. I think a small hole saw is the correct drill for this box. The two hasps don't have holes big enough for a padlock, but there are small holes drilled which could hold a security seal wire. Overall, a good looking and well built container.

Worked well

I selected this Bud box for my new EKM power meter. I put a 1/2 in. Knockout in the side and used an offset conduit nipple to attach it to a generator transfer switch made by as Reliant. With the clear plastic door I can see the generator load without having to open the box.

The stainless steel latches should last longer in the long run.
