Came into the purchase knowing I wasn't going to see any massive performance gains.Bought it for the sound, and it sounds pretty sweet above 3.5k rpm.From what I've researched you'll get about a 10hp bump which is welcomed.Only thing that sucks is that you cant get the engine cover back on but with a little ingenuity and a rotozip should solve that.

Airaid design and install is straight forward. Easy to install and a great looking system. The sound at WOT is awesome. The ease of getting to the filter is so much better than the stock location of my 2008 FJ Cruiser.Performance and mileage increase is NONE!I did multiple tests and all resulted with no increase in acceleration speed or mileage. Kinda disappointing. I do live in the mile high city of Denver, so maybe the lack of air has something to do with it.So the only benefits using this system is filter location, under the hood bling and major sound improvements at WOT.

The package arrived earlier than promised, and in excellent condition. Installation was simple and instructions were easy to follow. The test drive after the installation revealed a definite change in the sound of the intake on hard acceleration giving the feeling of increased power. It seemed like my zero to 60 time as I entered the freeway was quicker too. The bad news is absolutely no increase in mpg. Might even be slightly worse. I have monitored several refills, and done everything from around town to a cross country trip to see if I could find any measurable improvement. Sorry to report, there was none. Nice product, but it falls short on delivering on its advertised promises.

I bought this for my 2007 Fj Cruiser.1) the quality is great just as good as the trd one2) adds an awesome sound (at high rpm), it feels with more power when accelerating.3) Amazon shipping only took 4 days4) installation was very easy only took me 45 minutes by my self and came with instructions and everything needed.I really recommend this!

This is a very high quality true Cold Air Intake. The fit and finish looks very nice on my 2008 FJ Cruiser and it also definitely boosted the horsepower some and sounds great. I'm also running a free flow catback exhaust on my FJ... I think that's the only way that You'll get the full benefits from a CAI because You've got to have it blowing out as freely as it's sucking in. The customer service at Airaid is Excellent!!! I had the wrong reducer come in the box that goes from the intake tube to the throttle body. I called Airaid and spoke to Bryan in customer service and had the right part in my hands within 24 hours. The instructions with pictures are very easy to read and understand... very simple installation.
