Great product and LASTS
My 17yr old daughter had a scaphoid fracture that was casted with her thumb extended out. She had to keep the cast for 3 mos and we bought a few sets of water protectors for showering. I ended up getting this and she used it for almost 2.5 months straight. She got her cast off and the fracture needed surgery and she is back showering with a wrapped arm post-surgery and is still using the same protector. She emphatically gives this product a 5 star review. Zero leaks. Only issue is that it is tight so she needs help putting it on post surgery when she is still fearful of painfully bumping her thumb or arm. Other then that she stores it upright to dry and it is now on month 3 of continuous use.

So happy that I got this one!
This has to be the best cast cover for taking a shower. I’ve had it for nearly 3 months and the silicone part that holds it onto your arm that keeps water from getting your cast wet (no ideas what it’s called) is still as durable as the day I got it. It hasn’t loosened a bit. If you’re looking for one of these, this is the one you need to get. It’s very worth it.

Wish I got this sooner
This was a total game changer for me after I broke my wrist and had a cast put on. You just grab it by the disk and pull it up and it’s super comfortable and a snug fit. It’s so comfortable around the hole where your arm goes in that I was a little worried it wasn’t water tight, but I used this thing for weeks moving in all types of directions (even went into a hot tub) and never had a drop of water get in. Just be careful not to lean against the disk because if you push that while it’s on then the hole will open and you’ll get water in it.

Does it's job well without wasting plastic bags, tape and rubber bands.
Needs another person to help open protector while sliding in the arm with cast, but one can pull off the protector by oneself. Silicone type rubber seal is effective in keeping out water. It worked with initial fat cast around arm and now that a thinner fiberglass cast has been put, it's worked well for now almost 8 weeks...yeah the cast is coming off tomorrow.

Totally works, Just be careful as you take it off
I remember back in the day if you had a splint or cast you'd have to take a garbage bag and try to athletic tape some sort of seal and it never really worked. Enter: products like this.Kept splint dry as required/no leaking for me. Is a bit long for me, but makes sense to account for different arm lengths. Just be careful as you remove the bag afterwards (pull the portion that makes the seal away from the splint, and don't just drag/pull it off), so you don't roll the splint wrap/soft material up and have to re-wrap the bandaging after you remove it. If you had a cast or something that didn't have a soft/wrap component probably wouldn't have any issue with that at all. I'd buy one of these again if I broke something or had a surgery again. Seems high enough quality I'll probably keep this one around just in case.
