You can already see what you get and how nice these look. Truly a classic, leather-bound book look. The binder feels as nice as it looks too. Sturdy and solid. As a packrat, my only challenge is the inserts. The insert sheets have 2 disc pockets, one over the other, on each side. You can just barely fit a case insert into the bottom disc pocket and it will not completely cover the top pocket. If you want to save the outer case cover, you'll either have to fold it to make it fit or stash that somehow differently.

This item is very sturdy and perfect for storing CD's and DVD's.

I use these binders for nothing but disks; that is, no liner notes, no album covers, just disks. Each binder holds plastic pages with pockets that hold 4 disks, 2 on each side. I have about 80 disks per binder. You can easily put in 15 full pages for a total of 70 disks, but I also managed to fit 2 disks in a single pocket at times, making the total about 80 disks in 15 pages per binder. Some people won't want to do that because of potential scratching, of course. I found that 3 binders with one set of refill pages was the perfect amount to fill them all nicely without bulging. Because it's a ringed notebook, it's easy to insert more pages for organization. It works just like a 3-ring notebook. Alphabetizing was really easy, and the flaps on the pockets over the disks helps keep dust off. There is enough room at the top of the pocket so you can take the disk out without touching the surface, although it is more difficult to pull it out by the edges. The notebooks are durable but there was some cheapness of quality that I wasn't pleased with. There are some metal frame-shaped bits on the spine for adding labels to the notebooks, and while they have the appearance of being bolted on, they are just glued on. Two of these were loose on one corner when I received them. One had some of the cardboard label stuck inside it and would not come out for anything, so it's a very sloppy look to have a ripped bit of paper stuck on the spine. Also, the raised parts of the spine were rubbed bare from shipping. From a distance, these look great, but up close you notice the flaws and they do look a little sloppy. I would have preferred a plainer spine, something flat like a 3-ring notebook, but this was the best buy for the type of storage I could find, and I'm ultimately glad I got these. As I have to store these on a top shelf, the last thing I wanted was a heavy storage system, and these are compact and light enough for me to get on and off a high shelf easily.

I have four of the Black binders for holding DVDs which use to reside on a DVD rack. Since I rarely watch DVDs anymore, the rack was just an annoyance taking up space and collecting dust. Now, the DVD jackets are in a box in the attic and these binders sit on my bookcase. The cover on these books is pretty hard, so if you get one that is bent I doubt you could correct the issue. Luckily, all mine showed up fine. Putting just DVDs in the sleeves without any covers inserts, I was able to fill the binder up to the point that I wouldn't want to add anymore sheets. I could probably put a few more in each binder though. The description is pretty accurate, but there is one flaw in the sleeves themselves. If you want to also put in the cover inserts from the DVD cases, then you'll either have to do some tricky folding or some cutting. The little spots that are cut out just don't fit the cover inserts. If there are any booklets with the DVD case, then those will fit. I did not try with any CD inserts since I don't really have any CDs anymore. If you did put in cover inserts, then I could see this binder getting really full and you may not be able to use all the pages without the binder getting too thick. Overall, I would purchase these again as they solved my issue and look good on a bookcase compared to some of the zipper cases. I would also purchase more, but I doubt I will since I don't remember the last DVD I purchased.
