I tried to secure a few things inside our family's cars for various purposes and none of the double sided tapes that I own survived being in a hot car for more than an hour. After being frustrated for quite some time, I thought, there are millions of others who have similar needs: an adhesive material that can hold whatever it needs to hold in cold and hot weather, especially inside a hot car on a sunny day.So here I am, searching and searching and realizing that the 3M VHB is made to be idiotically strong. So I bought these and tried it.It is holding all the things I need it to hold even when the car got to 150F for several hours.Honestly I'm quite impressed. It's a bit pricey, but it freakin works. And THAT, is what matters. It works and it's a bit more expensive than the regular stuff, but it will do what the regular stuff can't even dream of doing.

This will not be sufficient to reattach a headset cushion to a pair of astro headset prior to the magnetic reattachable cushions. I was able to reattach it with superglue though.Does seem like a pretty good product for other purposes and the delivery within a day was right on time.

I bought this tape with really not expecting it to be ANY better than the other 12 flavors of double sided tape, but this roll DOES THE JOB. I have a shop that gets hot and I'll tell you when you hang something with this tape it STICKS in heat. The thickness is less than a 1/4 of an inch but has plenty of strength. I'm a believer with this roll... it is a KEEPER for me in my toolbox!

We own a motorcoach and have a problem with our windows. It’s weird how cheaply the windows were installed and they are all coming loose. They were only glued in by the manufacturer and over time the bond has come loose. We use this tape to remount the windows. We live in a tropical climate with extreme heat. Our motorcoach sits out in the sun and this tape holds even in our weather. I’ve now reordered it because we use it so much and it works!

Need some 3M tape to remount some auto trim. This did the trick. Nice width, Sticks really well, and claims to handle high temperatures. Hope it handles the Phoenix sun!

I bought this for use in environments that are warm. Once the temp goes over 90 degrees F, the glue will eventually fail. Probably ok for cool environments. The spec says " maintains strong performance in extreme conditions (-40°C to 80°C)," which should perform up to 170 degrees F.

Works fantastic. Always lots of uses for double stick tape. Strong and flexible.
