After reading other reviews about these coasters staining I did feel like they are unfinished ceramic, therefore they will absorb liquid as said in the description. I didn't want them to get stained so I have used a clear lacquer on them so liquids will not be absorbed and they can be wiped clean, this does however mean that spills will sit of the surface of the coaster, not a problem for small amounts of drink really. The lacquer has made them slightly darker again not an issue, I absolutely love them, beautiful patterns, well made and don't scuff surfaces.

Lovely coasters, but unfortunately they stain very easily. Ideal if used simply for decor

Absolutely beautiful, bought them to add a touch of art to our campervan accessories. They are lightweight, each with a beautiful design with wonderful colours, make me smile every time I pull one out to use. They come in a metal stacking unit, all together they might be too weighty for some when camping load is at a premium, for us it's worth the weight, you could always carry them without the holder but this does prevent any rattles if you keep them in the supplied bubble wrap.

Bright, good quality. Have a soft backing so as not to scratch surfaces.

Ich habe ähnliche Untersetzer in quadratisch bei einer Freundin gesehen und mich direkt verliebt.Aber natürlich ist es doof, wenn ich mir die selben gekauft hätte.Daher für mich diese wunderschönen runden Untersetzer, die durch die an der Unterseite angebrachten Korkplatten super sicher und rutschfest sind.Ich bin begeistert und habe mir gleich mehrere verschiedene Sets bestellt.
