blocks the sun and the sweat
I got this head band primarily for the sun visor, which works very well. I ride primarily first thing in the morning and half of my daily trip is riding into the rising sun. Even with sunglasses the sun came into the top of the glasses. I did not want to buy a new helmet so I could attach a sun visor. I saw this and decided to try it. Well, not only does the visor do what I wanted, I did not realize how much sweat was previously running into my eyes, causing further discomfort to my eyes. This headband does an excellent job of wicking the sweat from my forehead. The headband / visor fits perfectly with my helmet. I simply slip the headband on and then put my helmet on as usual right over it. The headband is comfortable, I barely notice it.One funny thing is that the visor now channels the wind so I get a lot more wind noise (that, or, this made me so aerodynamic that I am riding faster - lol!). I ride with earphones to play music while I ride, so, this is not an issue, just interesting to note.Such a minor expense has made a major difference in comfort during my daily ride. I should have done it sooner.

Keeps sun and sweat out of my eyes and doesn't hinder helmet ventilation
I started biking early in the morning to beat the heat, so the sun shining almost directly in my eyes is a problem. The VisorBand solves the problem with a visor length short enough so as not to interfere with my view but at the same time keep the sun out of my eyes. The visor flips up when I don't need it. The Halo band part is very effective at keeping sweat out of my eyes, and because there's no cap, I can still take full advantage of helmet ventilation. This product is very well designed and perfectly suited for its purpose.

Best visor to keep sweat out of your eyes
This visor is the best I've found for keeping sweat out of my eyes. The rubber strip across the front channels any sweat off to the sides and away from my face. It's comfortable to wear while running, biking (under helmet) or just doing yard work. The only negative I have is the bill of the visor is a little too short. It looks a bit funny and doesn't provide as much sun protection as a more traditional bill. Some of Halo's other visors have a more traditional look and I like those, but this one is my go to for the best sweat management.

Keeps the sweat off face. Does not keep sun out of the eyes.
Works great to keep sweat off the face but still 1 thing I would change.I cycle up to 1.5 hours and have yet to get any sweat running down my face. Without this HALO visor I am constantly wiping the sweat from my eyes. It does that part very well. The visor is a circle shape which means there is no sun protection for my eyes on the sides. That means unless I am riding directly into the sun then the sun is in my eyes. I would prefer a more square shaped visor to provide some sun protection on the sides (square shaped like a regular ball cap) but still short like this one. That is the visor I want to buy next. Who makes that?

Love this for riding my bike
The Halo Headband VisorBand Sweatband fits perfectly under my cycling helmet. I wish there were an inbetween size the visor and the race sized visor headbands. The race one is a standard ballcap type of visor and I can't see my mirror (attached to helmet) well. Race might work w/a mirror that fits on your glasses better? The visorband is the standard bicycle cap smaller visor. I did not have a single drop of sweat land in my eyes while riding 3 hours in the AZ temperatures!
