Bought this for my husband after accidentally knocking his other one off the table. It was a blessing in disguise. This chest board is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is excellent the size and feel of the pieces are perfect in your hand. Not too heavy and not so light but they will easily tip over. It is rather big so we leave it sitting up on a table but it is the perfect size and the pieces fit perfectly in your hand. A lovely board to play on, and the smooth feel of the polished marble makes your pieces glide gently across the surface. Very happy with this purchase great value for the money. Much much more than I ever could’ve expected it would be. Final note I will say this is not a board for a child. This is definitely an adult chest board for a more experienced player.

Amazon packs this very poorly didn’t put a fragile sticker on the outer box. The chessboard was shaking around inside got dropped on a corner and the whole thing was shattered into pieces when I got it took over a month for a refund very disappointed. Sure the quality of the board was great was a beautiful piece the package that the supplier had the chessboard and was very neatly packed with a fragile sticker and Amazon put it in a box 2 times the size of the original box without a fragile sticker if I were to order a product like this again, I would order it directly from the seller not Amazon.
