The absence of a proper handle is a horrible drawback.
The product does its job well , but its drawbacks make it not worth buying.1. The hollows for the batter are too close together , which means if you use batter to fill each hollow more than 75% , it rises to such an extent that it overflows.If you want good appams , use less batter in each hollow.2. The pan does not have usable handles. The small triangular projections on two sides are almost useless. Handling the pan while it is hot is very risky.3. The pan itself is very heavy.4. The pan retains its heat for a VERY LONG TIME , probably for an hour after it has been removed from the stove.If you can , avoid buying this and go for some other product which does not have these drawbacks.
