C what they mean?
These Opti-C Vitamin C tablets come in Healthspan's trademark letterbox-friendly box with each tablet individually sealed on blister sheets. Not sure I appreciate the amount of single-use plastic the blister sheets use and I wish they'd find a better way, here's hoping. The tablets themselves are moderately sized lozenges ands easy enough to swallow. There doesn't seem to be a coating on them so a drink helps, but that's a good idea with vitamin C anyway. Higher dose vitamin C supplements are putting quite a significant amount of acid into your stomach so taking them with food seems a good idea to buffer the acid effect a bit, all of that said I'm not getting any stomach upset from these at all.Usually I prefer a time-release Vitamin C supplement because it's a water-based vitamin that doesn't get stored in significant amounts in your body so time-release supplements hang around a bit longer. This one is slightly different because it claims to be more absorbable than standard vitamin C but it's not clear if that means it's absorbed more quickly or more completely over a longer period. Surely if it's absorbed more quickly it would also pass out of your system that much quicker too? However it's good to see that the Opti-C variation blends the vitamin C with Bioflavonoids which exist alongside vitamin C in nature and increase its effectiveness. It's a pricey supplement but the quality seems good and it's been well tolerated so far, I'd like more information about the Opti-C variation though.

Good but pricey
As a 72yr old male with some ongoing health issues I take Vitamin C daily – particularly during the Winter months. These tablets come in a blister pack format and are easy to swallow. Not sure of the benefits of faster absorption as ascorbic acid is water soluble and is excreted by the kidneys within 24h hence the need of taking a daily dose (or get it regularly via vegetables / fruits). Vegan compatible for those who need it. There are other suppliers of Vit C at a third of the price. I will report in due course as to whether I find these tablets any better

Quality daily dose of Vitamin C
I've had these before and they are excellent quality and absorb much better than other types I've had previously. This carton contains 3 x 30 blister tablets of Vitamin C tablets. These are 500mg strength capsules and of high quality through and through just as the product description says, which I read and sounded like music to my ears. They are easy to swallow with water. They make me feel good but I can't exactly pinpoint it. They give me my daily dose and will last 3 months which I think is excellent value for money. They are a very good price and keep you nice and healthy.

Great company
Perfect to target daily vitamin C requirement, no strong odour or aftertaste with these tablets, at the current price of £!5 for 90 tablets ( a 3 months supply) these are quite economic tablets, happy with the packaging, no faults whatsoever, feel great after taking.

Good dosage
Are getting 90 tablets here at 500 mg each. You take one tablet daily and they are relatively easy to swallow. This means this pack will last you three months. I appreciate that it is a clearly marked vegetarian and vegan product. You get a long expiry date of a year from the time of ordering to use it up. This type of vitamin C is meant to have superior absorption than most other vitamin C is and I guess this justifies the Price of around £15.
