L -7.75, R -2.75. Just getting started, I will update!
I am one week into my journey of natural vision correction. I started this because I went get a refill on my contact lenses, which required another exam- and within 3 years, my prescription got significantly stronger and the contacts for my worst eye tripled in price. I work with computers all day, for the last 7 years. I am afraid of the future of my eyes and the cost of caring for them as I age. I am afraid that I won’t be able to live my life to the fullest as they get worse and worse using the “crutches”. I am 24 years old, born with a severe astigmatism. My left eye is currently -7.75 and my right eye is -2.75. I figure, if they can get worse that fast, they are merely adapting to the environment in which I’ve submersed them for so long, and it can be reversed if I am diligent in my daily eye training. I am rating 5 stars for now, as the book is very interesting and well written. After one week of doing the exercises, I am experiencing clear flashes and my left eye is starting to shift on its own. I will continue to update my review as I go!

Good content
Despite its good content, it makes it difficult for reading as the letters are too small.

Fantastic resource
the book is great and has lots of great information for self-healing improvement especially vision improvement which I'm trying to correct double vision that happened after a surgery.I had the opportunity to meet with the author for private sessions and I did give him feedback on the book. It's a great book it would be great if it was organized where there is either a supplement or a companion that has all the exercises with photos listed separately so you could go straight to the exercise without having to read through all of the documentation to remind yourself how to do the exercises kind of like a supplement with just the exercises and pictures and descriptions on how to do them correctly. Either a supplement booklet or revise this book to include a section in the back like an appendix of all the exercises in detail. I am so blessed to be in have been able to meet with him and how personal sessions one-on-one so that I'm doing the exercises correctly and the best ones for my vision impairment.

Vision for Life works if you use it
I've had poor vision since I was five years old. The exercises help if I keep up with them. I have to reread pages on the Kindle that would be easier if I had bought the hard copy.

I Wish it Had a Summary of the Techniques
Was pretty good. But I was looking for something more direct. I liked the book, but I just wish at the end there was a summary of all the techniques and a straightforward methodology for them. But instead, I am going to have to go thru and create my own summary. The techniques we are told to use he talked about them within stories most of the time, so the direct steps were not right next to each other. I found myself highlighting sentences here and there all over the place trying to capture the actual required steps of the technique. If anyone has the same problem as me, then I will share my summary that I create with you. To save me emailing out my simple summary to everyone look for the link in the comments section that I left. It took me some time and effort to create this summary. the techniques are stuck all in the middle of STORIES!Overall the book is good though, don't get me wrong. There definitely needs to be like a "recipe" book of Eye Exercises created to COMPLIMENT this book, NOT replace it. Because without this book I wouldnt even a) know the techniques or b) understand why I would do them.I hope this helps. And if you want to save your own time and effort then just go get the summary I've made (see the website I mentioned earlier)

Could it really work?
I was so inspired by the story of Meir Schneider that I decided to read his book. He was born almost completely blind. Through sheer will to succeed, he learned the methods of William H. Bates, developed some of his own ideas, and eventually got to a level of sight so good that he could get a driver’s license. How could someone not want to learn his approach? Having worn glasses for over 30 years for my nearsightedness, I decided that I want to try to get rid of them so that I could buy the (hopefully) upcoming Apple Glasses and not need a prescription. It’s not really clear why his systems will work, but they seem reasonable and, in fact, enjoyable, so why not? He presents the idea of “sunning,” which is basically standing outside, closing your eyes, and swaying back and forth for a while. I enjoy the feeling of the sun on my face, so it’s an easy exercise. He also advises “palming,” which requires relaxing a lot and then gently covering your eyes with your hands. Staying in that position has a meditative result, so you finish and feel relaxed. He also says you should examine the details of everything around you, which helps you to stimulate the brain-eye connection. Along with going outside without glasses, which I’ve begun doing on my morning walks, he details several other techniques and says you need to do them for months, and maybe years. That’s a long recovery time, and I am not sure I have the patience to do it, but I’ll try it for a while. Schneider seems to have many followers who swear by his methods, so I’m game to try.

A Very Nice Book in a Great Font for Those Who Need It
Two friends recommend this book--one who has macular degeneration and another who has glaucoma. I had never seen the book "in person," and I'm always wary about format, typeface, etc. when I order sight-unseen. I have not started the exercises covered in this book, but I can attest that it is a good sized high-quality paperback with an excellent font for the visually challenged folks who need this book.
