Retinol Moisturizer Cream

I ordered this product for $19.99 when it went on sale. I've been searching for a high quality face moisturizer that's not ridiculously overpriced. This was my first experience with Baebody brand. I really wanted to be able to judge the value of this moisturizer as objectively as possible. The issue with cosmetics is that the claims are not regulated by the FDA or any similar agency. There's no way for consumers to determine the actual quality or consistency of the ingredients. Accordingly, I do not judge products based upon their marketing claims but rather strive to determine their value solely upon my personal experience with each. Since it takes approximately 8-12 weeks for the epidermal (the outermost) layer of the skin to renew, I figured I would use it consistently during this timeframe in order to accurately assess its efficacy. I ordered 2 jars and used them regularly over the past 3 months... Every morning and night. I demand high performance from my cosmetics. I'm a hemodialysis RN so I often work 16 hours shifts. Also, it's summertime in Phoenix, meaning that my skin must endure extreme temperature fluctuations and oscillations between dryness and high humidity. I need products that will last all day, and remain supportive through periods of high physical stress. I've observed an improvement in my skin's hydration level. The moisturizer seems to penetrate deeply without leaving any residue. It doesn't make my skin oily and I have not noticed any increase in breakouts. It seems to create a deep, enduring moisture level. On most mornings, I used this underneath IT Your Skin But Better CC Cream. I also use a small amount of Real Deal Concealer by Laura Geller under my eyes and over any problem areas on days that I work. This moisturizer works really well these products as it seems to help them apply smoothly and makes my skin resistant to dryness throughout the day. Overall, I'm very happy with this product. I think it's a fair price for a high quality moisturizer.

I have ave used this cream for about a year. I apply it every evening before bed. I believe it has improved my skin and slowed down new wrinkles from forming. I love the smooth thick texture of the cream.

Overall, this was a good product and I love the dispensing container as it seemed to provide just enough with one pump to apply to my face. I did get a little sensitive to it though (perhaps I used it too often one week) and it felt like I had a bit of wind burn on my cheek. I don't remember it having an odor and it did seem to moisturize well. It applied much like a routine face cream and wasn't greasy.

At nearing 50, I'm someone who has tried a lot of the more affordable anti-aging products out there over the years. I've come to be pretty cynical about them living up to their hype. But this stuff is pretty great. I started using prescription-strength retinol last year, but the results didn't seem to warrant the cost for me. So when I saw this in a Lightning Deal, I got it. Seriously...this stuff is BETTER than the prescription retinol! It smells great, I LOVE the way the jar dispenses, but the biggest thing is, IT WORKS. Within a day or so of using only it (and no other moisturizers), I had the typical light amount of peeling on my cheek that I would get with the retinol. However, I don't wash my face the way most women do--I don't wear makeup very often, so I don't have to exfoliate my face in order to keep my skin looking good. If you exfoliate, you probably won't have the kind of peeling I had. But the point is, it works just as well as the prescription stuff, but smells better, doesn't feel like it's drying my face out (although it does feel firmer after application), and you get a TON of product for the price. Also, the applicator is awesome. You just take off the top and press down on the white circle, and it dispenses a little cream at a time. Brilliant. Why don't all face creams have that? I am sold on this stuff and will only be buying it from now on. I need to try Baebody's other products now.

Have used this for 5-6 years now. I am not a sun worshipper, so not that many wrinkles, but was developing some and this erased some and seems to be keeping the formation of new ones down quite a bit. Recommend it, but I dont have really deep or a lot of wrinkes.

Has done absolutely nothing for my fine lines but it does dramatically reduce the poor size on my nose and cheeks. I have less blackheads because if that so my skin overall looks better. Way too rough to use around the eyes. After applying once my eyelids swelled and puffed up quite noticing. Also very drying which is normal for retinol but I think this has done more damage to my eye area than good. The drying out and puffing up has created more wrinkles. So useless for wrinkles, especially eye wrinkles, but will improve skin overall. Last complaint is the bottle. You have to flip it upside down and smack it like a half empty bottle of thick shampoo to get the cream to lay on the pump (no tube going into the bottle). Then you have to press the entire top down (awkward) and it oozes the cream out all over the top. Hard to control the amount and too messy. I just unscrew the top and dip in a finger. Wish it came in regular bottle with working pump.

When I first bought this, it was at the recommendation of a family member — they had said they used this product and it made a world of difference for them. I was skeptical at first, but hopeful (which is what drove me to make the purchase). I exclusively only use it at night, right before bed. It leaves my face feeling clean and pleasantly moisturized. I continued using it every night for about a month, and that’s when I started receiving compliments. Since the changes were so subtle and over a long period of time, I didn’t really notice any difference myself. But when I was out and about interacting with strangers, they’d often comment on how beautiful my skin looked, and how well I must take care of it! After a while of using it, the fine lines on my forehead have lessened, the crows feet that were slowly forming around my eyes have come to nearly a full stop (for now), and my skin overall just kind of glows. Those weird lines on my neck/throat that everyone seems to have have lessened a bit, too, which is great! The two problem areas I was worried about that didn’t see too much of a change (as far as I can tell) are my smile lines, and the wrinkles under my eyes. Nothing I do seems to get rid of the under eye wrinkles, so I don’t fault this product much for that. The product also lasted longer than expected. I believe it lasted me about 4-5 months, which, considering the size, was waaay longer than I had anticipated. I ran out a while ago and just made another order — I don’t feel the same without it now!

I liked the product. I’m 53 and my skin is drier more often now, so I need a lot of added moisture to keep my skin soft. This has a rich creaminess that helped. Beyond that though it didn’t do any of the other things I was counting on. If you aren't yet at a stage in your life where your face is drooping and losing color, and thinning, but you need moisture, then this is an excellent choice. For anyone that reads reviews regarding it running out too fast, or experiencing this, let me help clear that up. This product lasts and there is a lot in the container. However, the dispensing method (which I really liked) required frequent “priming.” I thought I ran out too quickly too, and was annoyed that I didn’t pay attention to those who warned about that, BUT, in my frustration one day I angrily pumped the top furiously and suddenly it started dispensing again! I literally “ran out” at least five more times where pumping it until it dispensed again worked! In actuality, it lasted quite a while. So I think that after you use about half what is in there, the dispenser needs that priming on occasion. At the very least find a way to remove the top to be sure you ran out before thinking you did. I won't be continuing the use of this product though, due to other brands providing the age defying benefits better. Or maybe just sooner? (I am delighted with the results of MARYANN Organics Collagen Cream - Anti Aging Face Moisturizer - Day & Night - Made in USA.) Possibly if I had waited until after using at least 2-3 containers worth I might have experienced it with this product. I’m just not in a position to afford taking the chance that I won’t.

I’ve been using this product and I think it’s working. I started using it on the 27th February. I use it twice a day, AM and PM. Together with this retinol cream, I also use the eye gel for better results. And as you can see in the picture, there is already a slightly difference from day 1 till present. I’m going to keep using it and keep posting to see if I’ll achieve ever better results. Also when I use the eye gel, I apply in my forehead and neck, and I feel like my skin has revitalised since then. So far, I’m happy with it. I’ll keep you guys updated

Die Creme ist wirklich super. Sie zieht schnell ein und hat einen angenehmen zarten Duft. Ich trage sie morgens und abends auf und habe das Gefühl, dass die ersten Fältchen glatter sind. :-)
