Ecofriendly and my Produce Lasts so much Longer!!
I never thought I’d be raving about a plastic container but here I am. I originally bought them to store vegetables but I’ve also started to pack my lunch in them. They work so well. Basically, there’s a floating bottom that prevents the food from sitting in moisture, which keeps it from going bad. There are also vents at the top.1.) There are multiple sizes available. I recommend getting the 11.1 cup if you plan on storing things like lettuce, fruits, etc.a. The 17-cup size is great if you want to use it for groceries. I take it with me to the store and it’s a whole lot better than using plastic baggies. It’s never to late to adopt a greener lifestyle and I highly recommend it - not to sound preachy but whenever there’s a simple “greener” alternative product I’m usually willing to try it. That’s how I found out about silicone sandwich bags and Swedish dishcloths (both of which I’d definitely recommend checking out).2.) The container really isn’t that expensive. If I remember correctly…mine costed around $8, which isn’t all that different compared to others that you can get in stores and they don’t keep your food fresh like these ones.3.) I’ve completely stopped using plastic bags for my groceries. I pack them in these containers instead and they almost always last longer than their “best by” dates. Less food waste = good.4.) The lid isn’t flat like a regular plastic container so you can actually fit more inside without having to worry about squishing anything.a. Keep in mind however that you won’t be able to fit larger size items such as apples and melons unless you cut them, which I wouldn’t recommend. Avoid overfilling it as that can affect the airflow.5.) They stack well. I have six of them and when they’re not in use, I have them stacked up in the kitchen cupboard. A great way to keep them nice and organized.6.) You can label the containers with a dry-erase marker, which is what I do. It washes off easily every time with just a bit of soap and water.7.) Remember you don’t have to wash the food before you put them in the container. The whole point is to prevent moisture from building up which speeds up spoilage. Only wash whatever’s inside when you’re about to eat them!8.) They’re easy to clean, rinse them with soapy water like you would do with any other plastic container. Don’t forget to rinse out the perforated tray at the bottom as well.a. Speaking of the tray you never want to take it out if you’re using the container. It’s an essential part that prevents the item from sitting in settled condensation aka it prevents it from going bad.b. You won’t be able to buy a tray replacement without having to buy a completely new container so make sure that you don’t break or lose it.9.) The plastic is very sturdy, I’ve dropped it accidentally on the ground but it still looks like new. Contents are also protected.a. It’s also very clear and easy to see through so you can check on your produce easily without having to actually open the container.I hope this review has helped you. Definitely get it if you want to increase the longevity of your produce! You’ll thank me later.

Works miracles for some produce, but not all produce is created equally...
I have been using these (all three sizes) for about a month and am continuously stunned by what these do for my green peppers. It normally doesn't take long for a fresh green pepper to start softening (breaking down) in our crisper drawer, and once it has been cut then each time I use a little more I end up trimming the cut edges that have turned soft and curled in to get to the part that is still reasonably solid. By the time a full pepper is used up at least 1/4 to 1/3 has been trimmed into the trash. I just pulled out a pepper (uncut) I brought home 12 days ago and there is not the slightest hint of softening - Still firm and crisp. Once a pepper has been cut now I can use 100% of the pepper without ever having to trim off questionable soft edges. These are miraculous for green peppers. They work wonders for fresh broccoli. Head lettuce still gets wilty on the outer leaf but hasn't slimed at all and hasn't "browned" very much. Peel off the wilted outer layer and its like a fresh head of lettuce. I can't tell if it works on strawberries because I pick my strawberries already fully ripe and after 2 days they seemed questionable to me. Yes these get condensation, but that depends on usage, for the first three weeks I had no problems with condensation, but the last week when it has been hot and humid I have...presumably a bigger temperature drop each time the fridge door is opened in this weather is to blame. They are clear so you can easily see if the moisture is building. I've had to wipe out the large one (head lettuce and broccoli) one time but the same head of lettuce has been in there for over 3 weeks. So far the only thing I've had to throw out before being used up is the strawberries. I haven't tried other fruits, but everything green I've put in these has had good results with the green pepper results being nothing short of amazing.

Excellent product.
These produce storage containers are really good. They are pricey but they keep produce fresh for a very long time. I have started putting my mushrooms in this container (holds two small packets) and they were fresh and firm after ten days in the fridge. Baby cucumbers fit well too. DO NOT WASH THE VEGGIES UNTIL READY TO USE.
