My motorhome has 12 v 10 watt two prong lamps. The prongs (lamp leads) corrode over time and loose contact, and be re-illuminated be moving in or out

I have used this as a substitute for dielectric grease in a variety of electronic repairs and for my RV as well. I have had no issues as lkng as u clean the corrosionnoff with baking soda paste first. Your 9Vs will still heat up with the plastic covers on (even with this product)

Does it come with a spreader?

Mine did. Though mine came with the blue lid, so it may have also changed since they apparently changed the packaging to the grey lid.

Why do some Q&A answers refer to this as an electrically conductive solder paste when the product clearly says thermal paste?

It is both. Generally, electrically conductive materials are also good thermal conductive materials. (Gold, silver, copper, etc.)
