Works good
Works great for the price! It doesn’t seem like a lot, but it is plenty as it is the perfect thickness and spreads really well! Easy to use and very durable.

Great Thermal Results Surprised Me
I recently purchased this thermal compound i've never heard of just to give it a try. I figured it couldn't work that good because of how cheap it was and that i've never heard of it before. Yesterday I used MX4 thermal compound on a Dell Inspiron 17 5755 CPU and heatsink and temps at idle were not very good at all and even worse under load. I used AIDA64 Extreme to stress the CPU and I hit temps of 104deg C which is HOT! Now this system will never see that kind of CPU load because the user at most surfs the web, Facebook and plays a few puzzle games. However whenever i'm overhauling a system no matter what it is I want it to be battle ready for any scenario! So I figured i'd give this new Gennel compound a try. My first thoughts were it was REALLY thick! At first it looked like there were fibers of some sort in the compound! So I took the included spatula and smeared it on a sheet of paper so I could see and to my surprise it spread smooth as butter and there wasn't any fibers in it! It's just that thick! So my first application i used the corner of the spatula and placed a pea sized dab in the center of the CPU's IHS and installed the heatsink. Since i've never used this brand before I removed the heatsink just to see how well it spread out and found that due to the thickness it DID NOT spread out like the MX4 which is way more liquidy. So I used the included spatula and spread a nice thin layer basically painting the IHS like we used to do back in the day before the whole pea or grain of rice methods! lol :) Now that worked perfectly! I got complete coverage, no overflow (too much thermal paste and you'll have a mess on your hands and it's not easy to clean up). So I reassembled the laptop and booted it right up and went straight to AIDA64 and ran my tests. I was amazed! At idle the CPU temp dropped 15deg C and under load it dropped from 104deg C to a steady 72deg C which by my math is a 32deg C drop in temps!!! Holy crap! Now this is my first run with this thermal paste and I don't have multiple data sets to draw a conclusion from but if my future results are anything like what I saw here then i'm buying this stuff by the truck load! I restore ALOT of laptops and desktops so I go thru ALOT of thermal paste. This might be my new daily driver! I'll add more to this review after a few more applications! But for now this is what i'll be using over my MX4.

Best Bang for the Buck Thermal Paste on the Planet!
I have used this product for over 4 years now. This will be my 3rd purchase. So far all systems I have worked on to restore showed an improvement in lowered thermal temperatures. I am an ebay vendor that reconditions computers and sells them. This is not a HIGH performance, super high thermal conductive material. It just gets the job done. You will need to do new thermal paste application depending on the thermal load demands roughly once every other year. It is better than many OEM spec thermal pasts, but is not better than the super high performance thermal pastes like thermal grizzly or MX-6. This is sold intentionally as a quantity not quality product and you get more OZ.s of this thermal paste than you would thermal grizzly or MX-6. Which is great if you restore alot of computers that you just need operating within the specifications. This paste will meet or exceed some of the specifications when reconditioning on some of the OEM pre built products. Right now I just built a AMD 5700G system with an AIO cpu intercooler. Measuring those temps daily I have not exceeded 68*C which is extremely good under very high load. Monitoring with Standard CPU coolers at 95% load I do see a 10* thermal increase at 78* C which is also extremely good not using an AIO. Bad CPU temps are when the CPU hits limits higher than 90* C will then have thermal throttling and possibly thermal shut downs. Which isnt remotely close to happening wen using this paste.

Works with ease
Used inside of a Rockford Fosgate amplifier that I was rebuilding. Silver thermal paste was easy to apply and is working great at transferring internal heat to the heat sinks. Just like it's supposed to!

A good quantity of paste for the money.
A little thicker than I was expecting but did what I wanted. Worked well with CPU heatsink and a TEC cooler I needed to extract all the heat from. Great price in comparison to others and a lot of paste for the money. I now have a lifetime supply

be sure you need this much if not buy a smaller amount
You would not need this amount of thermal paste unless your doing multiple computers I got it because of that very reason easy to apply with included spreader quality seems just fine can't comment on the quality as I've not used it on an old computer yet and been able to compare before and after temps but pc's I've used it on with air cooling don't get higher than 80 when being stressed just used this on a new pc build and first one with liquid cooling and in normal use temps are overing in the high 30 with spikes into the 40's, under stress I've not seen the pc get to or go past 60.

OK thermal paste if you need a lot of it
Good paste if you do a lot of old game consoles or pc’s and stuff. Don’t expect super high performance. But if you’re just opening up an old Xbox or PC and replacing dried out thermal paste then this will do the trick. Can’t beat it for the price.
