Finally a FLIR that does what I need
I live on a farm, at the end of the road, back in the woods. Lots of wildlife in both four-legged and two. A really good electronic gate warning system w/lights have been a deterrent for the two-legged kind and 170 lb guard dogs have done a lot for the 4 legged kind. My previous FLIR was/is a TS-32 with great picture and distance but with a really poor cold startup and is a battery hog with short battery life. The LSXR has solved all the downside I suffered. Other than price its a great unit. Small, easy to carry and the startup is a few seconds long. pictures are about the same.

I have a scout flir and this one was way more money and not really worth it....
