The front of the bottle says 50mg but the back says 100mg. Which is it, please?

They are 50 mg each. The back of this bottle says the serving size is 2 tablets which is why it says 100 mg. If you read the recommendations on the bottle it even says, "Start with a low dose of one tablet (50 mg) taken daily with a meal."

is this time-release? i plan to cut them in half as 50mg is too much for me.
