I have purchased almost 200 of these. They are relatively easy to install. I personally attach a housing bracket first (new construction) so I can position them and provide temporary lighting before the ceiling goes up. I dont know how long they last, they’ve been up for a month. The quality of light is great. The brightness is great. The 5cct adjustable modules are nice, but i personally think 3000k - 5000k are too bright for 8-ft ceilings. They seem fine for 9-ft ceilings. They fit in low profile situations, i’ve managed to fit them underneath joists next to strapping (3/4” depth)Note: If you buy the single color units, you cannot easily swap them later with the 3cct or 5cct units, but you can easily swap them with a different single-color light. Similarly, you cannot exchange a 3cct light with a 5cct easily. For this reason i recommend the 5cct if you arent sure what color you want for each room, and if you are confident you know which color, buy the individual colors.

I needed to change my review, even though some lights came defective, this is the first time that a company reached out to me to fix the problem and keep in mind, I buy items in Amazon on a weekly basis, Maggie was really good and the company was caring and put the customer needs first, so buy items from them with the confidence that they will make sure to fulfill your expectations

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased these lights for a few reasons. 1. They said they were shallow mount and I had a feeling I was going to run into a stud. And low and behold. (See pictures) they do in fact mount right under the rafter/ stud. Thank goodness. 2. We have found that we like 3500 temperature and these have 5 different temperatures you can select. 3. They seemed a great price for the quantity you receive and they were worth every penny.If you find yourself wanting to perfectly place your lighting (I used a lighting calculator online) and don’t have to worry about studs being in the way then definitely grab these.I’ve only installed 4 of the sixteen I purchased so far. If I have any issues or any updates that may influence anyone purchasing then I will definitely update this review. So for now, this was a great buy.Note: I am a DIYer. I don’t do this professionally and they were really simple to install.Update: As promised I said I would submit an update. I ended up installing all sixteen and bought another pack. I am just as happy if not more happy after this purchase. Because they were so easy to install I put four in darn near every room in my house. I also placed some in my closets. (On a higher temperature 5000K so it’s easier to see in there). I still give this product 5 stars and definitely recommend.On a side note a friend of mine who does construction professionally said he also uses these all the time. So you get the thumbs up from a DIYer (me) and a professional (my buddy). Happy installing.

1/3 of the price of box stores and they work the same. I don’t know what customer service is like because there were never anything to complain about. They work perfectly and super easy to install. Buyers need to be aware of the Kelvin rating. 5000k is a blue light, 4000k is a white light (kitchen/bathroom), 3500k is a pinch yellow, but great for dens/bedrooms/halls. Also notice the amount of lumens. I bought 1050 lumens and placed a dimmer with it, I would go with higher lumens if installing in a kitchen.

Ordered a pack of 16 of these for a basement remodel. Hooked them all up, 1 wouldn’t power on at all, and 3 of them flicker so bad I couldn’t use them. As for the other 12, they are great. Look good, easy to install, feel sturdy, and the packaging was great. This company reached out to me and provided an outstanding solution to the 4 lights that would not work. I will recommend these lights to everybody and I also will be buying more. Don’t even think about buying them…just click buy now. You won’t regret it.

My work (a church) installed a couple of boxes of lights from this same company about a year ago. I was impressed with how they looked and worked, and how easy installation was. When I renovated my kitchen, I wanted to take out the ugly fluorescent type fixtures that were in there and replace with something more modern. I thought of these lights and went searching for them on Amazon. At work, we had installed both some 4000K and some 3000K lights. I wasn't sure which color would look right in the kitchen. And I have some really ugly fixtures in my hallways and closets (round globes) that I would really like to replace as well, but knew that I'd want a softer color there than in the kitchen. To my surprise, for just a few dollars more, they now have these lights from the same company that had variable color temperatures. This way I get a large box of them, and can make each one the correct color temperature for its location. I put up six of them in my kitchen and they look and function wonderfully. Haven't gotten to the others yet, but will do so in the coming weeks. I highly recommend buying the large hole saw that is the proper size. I borrowed the one from work that we bought last year. It really makes the process much faster. I highly recommend these lights. We've had them a year at work, and they are working great.

The lights themselves are great, easy to install, look great, everything you want in a light. They do interfere with the over the air TV antenna signal. Turn on lights, no TV. Turn off lights, TV comes back********************Update from 1 to 3 stars (July 14, 2021) Ensenior refunded my purchase and has offered to send me re-designed lights to test within the next 2 months. Because the lights are so easy to install and I really do like them for the suspended ceiling in my basement - I will report back if the re-design solves the interference with over the air TV signalFundamentally, I am happy with their response and customer service

Only dislike I had as I watched was the Amazon delivery guy threw my package on front steps, box was damaged. Lights are bright and I found them fairly easy to install, just time consuming. Spent all day pre wiring and installing 15 of them. Tested lights out as I installed them to see the change in how they light up my basement area. I originally doubted how many lights I used in my one area that is roughly 13ft x 17ft, must of did at least 4 revisions to my drawings. 15 lights does a great job of lighting my first completed area in the basement and I can always add a dimmer at a later date if needed. I'll add 2 more for over the computer desk later, and they will be switched on a seperate line. Fairly happy with this purchase and will be ordering and using more in the week ahead.

I recently purchased a 16 pack. They look well made but after installing them, I powered them up and 2 lights didn’t work. Customer service reached out and did everything the could to make this right. Highly recommended this company.

Installed all the lights which was fairly easy to do. Instructions were easy to understand. After installation, 5 lights did not work. Tried to re-wire and re-configure, however no luck. also, the other lights on the circuit flicker because the circuit does not close. Will need to look at different options.
