Clear Word Bible-OE Paperback – June 1, 1996

Very nice Bible for Seventh Day Adventists. Goes more in depth than regular Bible.

I'm very pleased with the Clear Word Bible. Everyone should have one because it's written in such a way that even a child can understand the Bible.

I have just recently joined a bible study group, in which all religious backgrounds are welcoming. As a UU, this has been a blessing for me to learn more about the bible and Christianity in general. Everyone brings his/her own bible, and we take turns reading from our bibles (by verse or chapter) so as to get the general ideas. When something strikes us, we take more time to really understand what is being said.The only time I find myself truly engaged is when I hear one of our group members read from The Clear Word. The ideas come across so well, and we are educated enough to question things that don't sound right, to use other bibles for comparison, and discuss what we don't understand, even when we read from KJ, NKJ, NASB, NIV, or any other translation or paraphrase!As a person who doesn't believe ANY man (inspired or not) can truly know God's exact meaning, I believe The Clear Word has it's place among all bibles, regardless of who wrote it or which denomination does or does not support it. The author's intention is known as soon as you read the preface. (Oh, you didn't read the preface? Why not? The preface/introduction of any non-fiction book is to explain the author's intent. How else will you know what that person was thinking? Shame on you for NOT reading it!) The point is to be interested in God and God's word so much that you want to read the bible and deepen your relationship with Him, so much that you'll want to be more interested in God and God's word, and on it continues...If this bible does it for you, then read it!

I was so very happy and thoroughly satisfied with the purchase of this Bible! If you’ve never been able to understand what you read in any other Bible version, you can stop here! It reads with such clarity that it answers your questions, you know the ones that you’ve had all your life trying to figure out just exactly what the book is, saying! Once you purchase this, Bible, you will become a scholar! No exaggeration! You will be thoroughly satisfied, and you will want to purchase it for everyone that you know who is interested in God‘s word! I’m very, very satisfied! I consider this is my greatest purchase ever in Christian material! Thank you, Amazon! This is the greatest! Honestly, I want everyone I know to have this book! I plan to purchase more in the near future to give away!

I love this book. I gave a copy as a gift to my boss, and she loves it. When her mother was in ICU for 40 days she had it with her. And she was reading it to her Mom, who asked for her to leave it with her when she went home. So she did. Then she bought a copy for her mother, so she could get hers back. I have bought several as gifts, and people just love them!! I don't think you will be disappointed!

It's more like a commentary than a bible, but it has many interesting insights making the scriptures easier to understand.
