Little bit difficult to understand, but overall good book and received before time

Excellent textbook with clear explanations.
I used this book for a graduate nuclear instrumentation course. This book is apparently considered the nuc/rad instrumentation bible. Thorough and clear explanations of complex topics. The author has a skill in explaining things with words that makes the overall concepts understandable. Excellent reference.

As an engineer in the nuclear industry my opinion of this book is very positive. Everything you need to know about radiation detection is explained in a clear manner. Some knowledge about nuclear physics is, I think, required.
