Had this battery for 6 years on my 03 Honda 250 recon. Just starting to get weak…..bout to buy me another cuz this battery was great. Purchased in July 2019. Little over 6 years……you can’t beat this battery nor the price. Fingers crossed I will have the same luck w the second one.

Battery came needing to be charged a little bit. Took about an hour. Holds a charge well connect very easily to any four wheeler. Feels very durable and well-made. Love that it shows how many volts the battery has left. Will know more in a year after it’s been used.

I replaced the OEM battery on my quad when it started to occasionally discharge prematurely. I wanted to get something super reliable so I spent the extra money on this "fancy high performance" Chrome Pro. I mean it's sealed iGel with an LED screen...It has to be a great product right!?! WRONG! This battery rarely held a charge longer then the crappy OEM one I replaced did. Whenever I had an upcoming ride I made sure it was on the trickle charger days prior so I had a full charge. Yesterday I went riding with some buddies. Had the battery on the trickle charger all week. The night before our ride I went in and started up the machine to make sure the battery was strong and it fired right up no problem. Perfect. Next morning I load the machine on the trailer (I didn't start it up as I didn't want to disturb my neighbors - It was early and my quad is VERY loud) and off we go. Almost 2 hours away from home in the middle of nowhere we arrive to ride. My buddy fires up my machine no problem and pulls it off the trailer. I have him leave it running for 2 minutes to warm up the motor and then I shut it off. We get all geared up and ready to take off and my battery is TOTALLY DEAD! All I get is that dull buzz! Not even ONE crank! All day long when we would take a break I had to park on a hill or have my buddy pull me to bump start my machine. Way to jack up a great day of riding! I was "that guy!" If you're like me and like to be over prepared when you ride so there are no mechanical issues to ruin your day, stay away from this battery. It is CRAP!

Ordered Tuesday, arrived Wednesday, installed Thursday. Not a difficult install. If you are in doubt, it is definitely in the cargo area, to the right of the spare wheel well. See youtube for a couple decent vids on what you need. The one little caveat is that the factory issue battery has threaded posts, and the bolts on the power leads from the vehicle screw into them. This replacement battery does NOT have threaded posts. It is not too big a deal. You just have to take the factory bolts off the leads (you have to bend three little metal tabs to get them out), and use the vertical mount configuration on the battery (bolts in from the top) and everything works great. If you are replacing the original, you'll note a little vent tube running down the side with the negative terminal. You have to detach this to remove the old battery (slides right off). This tube is not needed on the new batteries which are either completely sealed or handle venting differently. This is "day one" so will update when it's been in there for 6 months

This is the second Chrome S Pro battery for a 4-wheeler which is rarely used but always has power to crank. May have to charge it some but worked well afterwards. Battery was last purchased in 2019 so it has lasted for 6 years. Correct voltage, lightweight, and fit perfectly. Battery has a push button LED showing days in service and power level - excellent.

This battery is awesome because it has a built in voltage meter It has a built-in life meter. Basically telling you how many days the battery has been in service since you initially start using it. If I'm not mistaken. I think my battery lasted somewhere in the seven hundred to 9 hundred day range. In we're talking about a motorcycle that barely ever gets driven. But what I did do to help is bring it inside during the winter time. I would take the battery out of the bike and just store it in my house. Because if you know anything about batteries, you know that batteries don't like cold no matter how fancy they are.. I just bought another battery and i'm hoping this one will last another three years. Extremely affordable and very nice design. I will use these batteries until I can't anymore.
