My favourite e-learning design method! Great book, very very clear step by step to make e-learning modules interesting and relevant.

Adoro esta autora e já comecei a ler, mas reparei que o produto veio com as imagens a preto e branco. Muito pouco profissional por parte da distribuidora.

I recently finished reading "Map It: The Hands-On Guide to Strategic Training Design" by Cathy Moore, and I must say it has been an incredibly insightful and transformative experience. This book is a game-changer for anyone involved in training design, instructional design, or eLearning. Cathy Moore masterfully guides readers through her practical, results-oriented approach to designing training called Action Mapping. The method she presents enables trainers and instructional designers to focus on what truly matters: creating engaging and effective learning experiences that drive real-world performance improvement.

The book takes you through a process with relevant examples to explain how learning design works in practice. It showed not just the steps but also the difference two approaches can make - one not following the learner-centric approach and the other following it. I felt more confident in the area of developing learning programs after reading this book. I am a regular reader and passionate learner who looks for best books for my study collection on subjects of my interest and this book is now on my list. I read it and read it again.

Dans la période actuelle du "tout digital", l'auteure a le mérite de rappeler l'importance du processus d'ingénierie pédagogique et en particulier la phase amont, souvent délaissé au profit d'une construction ludique d'outils numériques qui font joli mais sont souvent inadaptés à l'objectif recherché... Il faut dire qu'en matière de pédagogie, le numérique déboule alors que la profession n'est pas, de loin, structurée, d'où la main-mise par les apprentis-sorciers et les gourous du digital ! Si les idées sont bonnes, voire salutaires, le bouquin est gros, long et cher... dommage, avec moins de texte et plus d'infographie il deviendrait une "bible" du "training design"
