This was a gift. Looked good. Smelled nice

This is a smart candle which looks ideal as a gift. The candle is presented in a clear glass container and comes with a chrome lid which can be applied when the candle is out making it look rather neat. It comes in an outer cardboard tube with ribbon. You have to be determined to open the pack though. The ribbon is glued in place and needs to be cut and torn off before you can prise the candle out. The tube opens in the middle.The candle burns well and the manufacturer suggests it will last for up to 65 hours. That looks a little optimistic for a 230ml candle but we’ll see. I am very fond of vanilla but this candle has a subtle scent. I’d have preferred it to be a little stronger.Overall a good present or gift to yourself. One star dropped for the low-profile scent.Four stars.

The packaging is beautiful, yes, but there is almost no scent thrown from this candle. It also gets oily and burns much more quickly than advertised. I do not recommend.

Really pretty candle, size and smell. Added to a collectiom of gifts for a colleague.
