High quality!
Love this item! Very high quality, easy to use, easy to clean, does not take up a ton of room, looks nice! You will need the recommended filters for this or a reusable filter. I tried the crimped #2 filters with it - did not work because of the amount of 'suction' that is created - it un-crimped the #2 filter and all the grounds got sucked down to the cup. Get the recommended filters.

Love the regular Chemex but bought this as a backup. Works great, just wish we had a clear mug to easily see how much water we’ve poured into the mug.

Perfect!
She’s perfect! I’ve wanted a Chemex for the longest. Being that I only make coffee for myself, the Funnex was the perfect gadget. It’s beautiful and the design allows me to make pour over coffee right into my mug while keeping it piping hot! I’m in love! Absolutely worth it and I wish I’d purchased mine sooner 😌

Be careful the lower rim is fragile.
Nice product but the lower rim breaks easily. If you buy it be careful and set it down gently. Never set it down as it shown it the picture set it down upside down gently it will last longer and you will be happier with your purchase.

Using daily for three years and still going strong
I've used this for three years daily and it's great. Pairs well with reusable cotton Coffee Sock filters.

This is more for show than every day use,. This is for when you want to impress your new date
Like I said, this is more for a show, a fancy little thing to put in your coffee bar than every day use of a pour over coffee. It also could be the filter paper companies came up with this gadget so they sell five times more paper per cup with this system, so if you are a pour over enthusiast like me yes buy it and add it to your collection but if you want something you want to use every day look elsewhere this is for show

Perfect for origami fans! :)
Other than having an awkward flared shape near the top, the funnel works great, as long as you don't mind doing everything manually. The filters that go with it are also fine, except they're flat when you pull them out of the box, and they seem to be the only ones that work with this funnel. It takes three folds and some delicate fiddling to shape a flat filter into a cone.
