If you plan on putting this mat on a non carpeted floor it is far too thin to be used like this. I also had issues with the endless thin plastic ties used. I understand the cable ties so it looks presentable on a shelf but I spent ages clearing up the small ties that were in it as they are a choking hazard. That said, you'd check anyway.My son loves the lights on this and the toys that dangle down. Would have been 4 stars if it wasn't for the thin material and plastic ties.

This is the 2nd time we've bought this (we lent the first one to a friend).I can't believe I have such a strong view on a baby's play mat but I do. Both of my children loved/love this mat. The previous mat was found dull and boring by my youngest got this in May and he loves it.Honestly it's like night and day vs the previous mat.My missus says it's because it has black and white bits that he can focus on. There you go, a little bit of science you bastards.

I couldn't believe the level of positivity in the reviews for this prior to purchase, but thought that for £40, it was worth seeing what all the fuss was about. Well, it's undoubtably the best thing we've bought for our 3-month old so far! He's completely entranced by the cat (?) which lights up and plays a jaunty tune or two, smiling away at it - it's just about the only thing that will keep him quiet, must be some kind of spell!The hanging toys are also encouraging him to reach up to them, which helps in their development and it's a wonderful thing to lay on the floor with him when he's playing with it.Buy it - buy it now!

Never ending source of fun. Little one loves it every day she on. Plenty of toys already attached to it, so really no need to buy additional.Tiger, one which plays melodies and has lights (in sync with music) is always there.Like every lady, my girl likes to look in the mirror from time to time.Really nice toy. Helps to get 5 minutes to yourself (like tea), while baby is occupied.

My 10 week old son loves the disco cat and spends ages talking to it! It’s great you can take this off and attach it to the pram! Worth the price for the cat alone but the other toys are great too and seem to hold his attention. The toys seem more varied and interesting than some other mats I looked at.The mat itself is thin, it’s fine on carpet but we have to put a mat down on our hardwood floor. The colours are bright! But the black and white parts help tone it down slightly and it’s one of the few colourful things he owns so far so I can cope! Really pleased with my purchase.
