The best Flux core wire I have used
Since buying my gasless welder in January I have had a lot of trouble finding a flux core wire as good as the one supplied with the machine. The welder came with a short reel of Sealey wire, which worked well and I was pleased with the results. I then ran out and used another Sealey roll of wire, but it was awful, spitting and making a mess of my welds. I went online and found that Sealey buy in their wire from somewhere else and stick their label on it, no two batches are the same, it is pot luck. Lot of people having this problem. That's when I read a few blogs about INE who manufacture their own wire and it is consistently good. I tried it today and all of my six welds turned out great, I'm back on top of my gasless welding, couldn't be happier, well worth the extra cost. Afew things to remember: - The flux core of all these wires are powder by the time they are in the wire, damp will affect it so keep it dry. - Buy makes from manufacturers that make their own wire, not cheap imports. - Bad welds can be made by the person as well as the equipment and wire, but if you start with a good wire rather than compromise because of cost, you will be put off welding.

Excellent flux cored wire
I have a Lincoln SP170i mig which I use a lot in outdoor conditions which is naturally quite windy and so I need a good flux cored wire with low splatter.I have been struggling with weld splatter with the previous gasless wire I had installed and I actually started to really not enjoy welding with the machine.I felt there had to be a better quality flux cored wire out there so I did quite a lot of research and eventually decided this was the one to go for. It's really very good, once the machine is set up right, it welds almost as well as standard wire with gas. It has a small amount of splatter but nothing like my previous wire and has excellent penetration and is relatively easy to see the weld pool. My helmet is quite old now so maybe a more modern one would enable me to see the pool even better but that has nothing to do with how well the wire performs. I've just bought a second reel and I'm not sure I'd really bother with using gas wire now as this is so good. Highly recommended.

This wire really will improve your welding
As a novice who's watched a lot of MIG welding videos, when the presenter says "buy decent MIG wire" I assumed that all wires were created equal. Well my welds looked terrible and didn't seem to be improving much, so I followed the advice, read the reviews and opted for a spool of Proweltek and wow, what a difference. I'm still a terrible welder who needs a lot more practice, but the welds look 100 times better than before. Don't waste your money on these £9 spools, buy decent. Not sure if this is the best wire available in the UK but it's certainly improved my welding.

0.9mm gas-lessflux wire using 1mm tip
Worked a treat splatters slightly but think this is my old mig welder, this is the second flux welding wire which after buying a new mig-welder same model as before proved it was the old welder that caused the problem.Far superior nogas welding wire I have found compared to others I have used, set at its lowest output welds thin steel 18swg without blowing through, penetrates really well fusing two metals perfectly.
