Light is very powerful. And very satisfying purchase.

The dome lights of my 1990 BMW 325iX was so dim it was like using two candles to light up the interior of the car.I replaced both of the festoon bulbs. The dome lights are so bright it is like daylight now. I wonder how I managed all those years with such dim dome lights.The festoon bulbs are of the correct length and similar in dimension girth-wise. There are some heat sinks to the back of the LEDs. So it is a bit bigger than the original bulb. My car has ample space in the light compartment. The back of the light compartment in my car is the metal roof of the car! So I am not at all concerned over heat dissipation as some other reviews suggest.If I had a choice, I would prefer the color temperature to be a bit warmer. It looks like 5000k just as the specs says. It would be better if it were 3000k. I am just glad the light output looks white and does not have a blue or purple tint to it.Overall, I am very happy with these bulbs!

OK, I was skeptical of the amount of light touted by others in the Reviews. I installed these in my 2018 Dodge Challenger and now don't understand what I did without them.I will say that when I first installed the bulbs (without the OEM shields since they are not necessary with these cool-running bulbs) they were so bright they were almost comical. I endured the brightness for a few days and told myself I would remove them the following weekend or rotate them in their connectors to reduce at least some of the light. But I actually got accustomed to the extra light and now I would not consider changing them.In the Challenger, the driver's and the passenger map lights are close together and intended to illuminate the center console. Knowing what I know now, I am considering using one of these for the passenger side only, and then installing a red version for the driver's side. That way the driver has the option to use either white or eye-friendly red light when extra light is called for while driving or stopped -- just an idea but it makes good sense.Again, these are cool-running so OEM heat shields can be removed for best directional light.

Produces a bright light filling the entire cab of my Jeep Wrangler. The bulb fit loosely so I bent the terminal clips in for a tight fit.

My gosh this things are bright. It will easily light up the entire cabin with bright white daylight. Word of caution tho, these bulbs get scorching hot even with the heat sink backing. I would ensure you are utilizing these bulbs for no more than 2-4 mins of (courtesy and map light) continuous operation. I saw few pics where they were used for continuous use for license plate, bad, bad idea. Just because it fits doesn't mean you put it in there. Not only it will destroy your bulb housing, but might catch on fire due to the heat. I have a 2002 Tahoe where I'm only using these on the inside in 2 spots and outside rear view mirrors. They only come on when I lock and unlock my doors and when someone is getting in and out of the car. Remember LEDs shine brighter when they are properly cooled but heat will expedite the deterioration while potentially catching on fire.

These are very bright. Boarder line too bright even. Fit prefect into my 2008 jeep grand cherokee map lights. No faint glow with them off. I put non can bus leds in map lights first. They were almost as bright when on but when turned off still had a glow that was bright enough to illuminate my interior while driving at night. Just don't be staring at these when you turn them on. The picture is with just one map light turned on at night.

Wanted to upgrade the dome lights in my Kenworth cab and once I was complete and tested them I was blown away. Wow! Wow! Wow!! Unbelievable how bright these are! Very incredible price and product!

5 stars overall except i havent had them in long enough to give my opinion on the longevity. have had them in for about a month or so now, seem to be holding up good, bright as hell, look like they were made well, aren’t bulky(no bigger then a traditional bulb) easy to install(of course), worth the $15 or whatever to update both my vehicles outdated incandescent dome lights. (1989 chevy s10, 1991 chevy s10)

Used one for the trunk light in my Mustang. What a difference! I can actually see everything clearly at night!

Very bright white light in minivan. Just for some of you to know. One did not work and I thought what junk, but my Rep who comes to my shop every week to collect my stuff not used, said turn the bulb around 180 degrees and it worked. They are polarity biased. I love them and mine work great

This bulb WILL WORK for 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix (Base Edition). Amazon's part finder says it won't, but they do. The bulb clicks right into place and is bright as heck. Doesn't flicker or pulsate with the alternator. I've only bought this brand of interior bulbs and they've always worked.
