Making Natural Liquid Soaps: Herbal Shower Gels, Conditioning Shampoos, Moistur

Not for beginners
Whilst this book is well illustrated it is poorly written and does in my opinion require some prior knowledge. Most (but not all) of the information is there but you need to flip around the book to find it and there is not enough explanation of the various component ingredients and the effect they have. For example I found it very challenging to make a batch of shampoo to a consistency that wasn't too runny. It was not clear how to proceed and what to use to thicken shampoo when using different base oils. If you have never made liquid soap before expect some trial and error along the way, however if you are prepared to persevere and do some additional research then I think that the book is a useful addition.

A Good Reference.
A good book for the beginner; very clear instructions and lots of recipes. I now make liquid soap along with my solid bars, both straightforward and not full of unnecessary 'nasties'.

Adequate information but not detailed enough; would have liked information on alternative cooking utensils - such as crock pot. Specifically written for Us based audience.
