It's caled the "Mini". Is the actual stove in this kit smaller than the normal Trianga model?

This is has a smaller stove then the older military kit. Thats why they call it the mini. Have had both and like the "mini" better but the military version does hold an ounce or probably two more fuel. It is larger all the way around. The MINI is the one you want. A-1 stove, will handle anything.

Is this big enough to cook ramen noodles without breaking them up?

Almost. If you truly don't want to break up the noodles, let the bottom half cook long enough to squish the rest in there.

Does the kettele from the 27 fit in it?

No, the kettle from the 27 will not fit into the 28-T Mini. The pot on the 28-T is too small.

Can you cook bacon and hash browns with this

...I would think so; I've cooked small burgers...the pan is small (single serving), but will work for any cooking...a covered pot of water boils in about 8 minutes...
