KBShimmer Hidden Potential Nail Polish 0.5 oz Full Sized Bottle

This polish is gorgeous. Very wide range of colors, depending on the light. Copper to mint to aqua for the iridescence, and the polish itself is a jelly purple. Truly multichrome, not just a flip flop. I love it! I ordered "Black" which is labeled "Hidden Potential" on the bottle. Make sure to add a little thinner to it as you go - initial consistency is great, but after using it 3 or 4 times it started to get just a little thick. Great polish!

Hidden Potential is aptly named, and I adore it. When I first tried applying it, the first layer looked like gross greenish glitter in a mauve-y base, with no color shifting to be seen, and I was so disappointed I gave up and used a different polish. I recently gave it another go and I wish I had sooner! Once you apply two or more layers, the nail polish really comes to life and has a ton of color shift. In some lights and angles it looks coppery with red and purple playing at the edges, in others it looks predominantly blue with purple. In some lights I have no idea what color it is, but it is very pretty! Definitely give this one a chance- the listing photos are gorgeous (and I have had my nails look like the colors shown in the photo), but it is somehow even more delightful in person. The formula is also very nice to apply, and makes thin even layers achievable without gloopiness or streakiness!

This polish is described as a "Multichrome Shimmer Base" but the finish is a jelly aurora shimmer, not the metallic shine of a multichrome like the ones I have from ILNP. It's very similar to another polish I own and I wouldn't have gotten it if the description had been accurate. That said, if you don't already have a purple based polish with a warm aurora shimmer this is a good one to grab. The thing that makes these polishes so pretty and shifty is the contrast of cool base/warm shimmer. It mostly looks either warm purple or copper, but turns blue at extreme angles and can also show a bit of gold or green. It applies well and is opaque in 2-3 coats as expected.

This is a hidden treasure!!! These are SO pretty and have a convenient narrow/flatter brush that goes on smooth and easy. One coat was perfect and 2 coats, the chefs kiss 💋 These colors are more 'chrome-like' which makes them even better. Hidden Potential is easily the most widely-varied color shift I've seen so far, actually delivering remarkably well on the beautiful product photo, compared to other color-shifting polishes I've tried. You usually won't see more than one or two hues at a time, but as you move through different light sources at different angles, it dramatically shifts through an entire spectrum of deep, intriguing, smoky-shimmery colors (yeah, "smoky," not bright and cheery; it has a nicely thoughtful, mysterious appeal). And if you have indirect natural sunlight on one side of you and bright indoor lighting on the other, you can actually see the full spectrum all at once, almost as clearly as in the product photo. The polish itself seems to be kind of a translucent but richly-colored deep heliotrope, but you have to look close to see anything but the dense, color-shifting shimmer.My only complaint is that, while the first coat dried nice and hard within a decent time, the second coat was still showing impressions of my fingerprint when tested nearly four hours after application, and tiny bubbles had formed in it on one nail. I finally just threw a quick-drying clear coat over it for protection because I didn't have any more time to wait, and before long the edge of the polish was peeling and lifting back from the edge of one nail.

The media could not be loaded. So first impression I was a little dissappointed because first coat was very purple with gold shimmer (not what I expected), with two coats it looked better but purple is still very prominent. Three coats (although not nessesary, you still see color change at two coats) gave full opacity of colors. In some pictures you can see I put 1 coat on pinky, 2 on ring finger and 3 coats on middle and the rest of the fingers so you can see the difference.In different lightings you'll see different color variations. On natural light I saw a lot of the purple and gold/copper?. Indoors you do see more of the green and blue. So if you don't see the color shift right away, try diffrent lightings and you should see it. It's really beautiful I'm happy with this polish and can't stop admiring my fingers <3

If I could leave zero stars I would. I was very excited to try this nail polish because nail polish never lasts on me.I read in an article (that took me straight to Amazon to order this product) about how good this nail polish is and how it lasts for a long time. It did not last but 24 hours . I painted my nails at night (so they dry well and I have no pressing cleaning issues to attend to) the following morning when I got to work my nails were chipped. The color chipped and chipped, just horrible. For the price I paid it was the worst nail polish I ever used. I did use a top coat etc. etc. Do not waste your money. Also, my daughter, who is very intro nail polish and having nice nails tried this product and had the same problem as me, chipped right away lasted about 48 hours.
